**** For all y'all info - no I was not throwing shade at Nicki the last chapter. This is a fictional book. With fictional characters. Based upon real people. And in fiction, the people they are in real life, is not who they will be in a story. I think y'all forget that some times.

Cause I be reading folks books and the comments be like - "Aug don't talk like that. Or he don't do that."

Umm dear it's fiction. The author has creative license to make him say and do what they want.

Just keep that in mind as y'all read people's books. Barbz in the comments getting mad for no reason. Chill lol. Damn. I have nothing against Nicki.

And nation I guess y'all don't have to hate Sevyn no more. She put up a picture of her and B.O.B. From the hashtags it seems like they a couple. So let her live lol

AMBER P.O.V. –

“Why are y’all not ready?” I asked O as he opened the door, shocked to see him still in his pajamas.

“Uncle Aug is sick and he didn’t iron our uniforms.” He closed the door behind me.

“If y’all don’t get dress y’all gonna be late. Where is he?”

“Upstairs sleep. He said it hurt for him to get up.”

I looked up the stairs and sighed.

“Fine. I’ll get you guys ready.”

I went upstairs to each of their rooms, got their uniforms and told them to get washed up.

I went downstairs, ironed their uniforms then brought them back up to them.

I helped Auggie get dressed and touched up Sata’s hair. It didn’t really need re-done, but I did it anyway.

We all went into the kitchen. They sat at the table while I got the cereal down, and the milk out.

“Sata help Auggie get some cereal. I don’t want him to waste it. I’m going to check on daddy.”

She got up and helped him, while I went upstairs to see what was up with Aug.

“August.” I knocked on the door.

I got no response.

“August.” I knocked on the door.

Still no response.

I opened the bedroom. The only light that was coming in was from the window.

I softly touched him and he rolled over.  “Hey Aug you taking them to school or what you want me to?”

“I’ll do it.” He sat up.

“It’s no problem for me to. They said you were sick.”

“Yeah, I’m having chest pains. But it’s cool.” He stood up.

“August. Just lay down. I’ll take them.”

“Nah, I usually do it so…” He looked in the drawer for some clothes.

“If you’re not going to work then it doesn’t make sense for you to drive all that way.”

He stopped looking in the drawer for a minute to catch his breath. Shortness of breath. Chest Pains. These are all signs of his Anemia. It also let’s me know he hasn’t been taking his pills.

“You know that won’t happen if you just take your pills right?”

“My wife usually sets them out, but she been too busy up in another nigga’s face so…” He sat on the edge of the bed, rubbing his knees. I guess trying to ease the pain in his chest, or catch his breath.
