~Maya's pov~
Riley looks at me with sympathy. "Maya, what happened before?.." I look down as memories start to flood into my mind. "I-.. Riley.." I sigh as tears start to form in my eyes. "Riley I can't-.." Riley puts her hand on my shoulder. "I understand.." "The same thing almost happened again that happened last time, but you saved me.. Thank you, Riles." She kisses me gently. "Of course I saved you.. Why wouldn't I? I love you Maya, with all my Hart." She smiles and hugs me tightly. I hug her back. I sigh. "I just wanna'.. Go to sleep.. Forget about what happened today.." She looks at me with sympathy. "Maya.. I- I'm sorry you had to experience what you did, I don't know what happened, but I'm sorry it did.." I lay down on her bed. "I'm going to sleep." I said and layed on my side. Riley layed down behind me with her body pressed up against mine and wraps her arms around me. I sigh and go to sleep. I wake up to my phone ringing. I sigh and answer it. "Hello?.." I say tiredly. "Lady. I need to talk to you, I want to tell you something.." I sigh. "Farkle can't it wait?" "NO!! Maya, please." "What about Lucas?" I ask a little annoyed. "It's about Lucas." That peaked my intrest. "Okay.. I'll come over, but Riley comes too." I told him. "Maya-.. Just you." I sigh and roll my eyes. "Fine. I'll be there soon." I hang up. I sit up, being careful not to wake up Riley. I then look for her notebook so I can write her a note, when I come across her diary. I look at Riley then look back at her diary. "Should I?.." I whispered to myself. I open it and start reading. "Friday, January 7th, 2007 Dear Diary, today I made a new friend, her name is Maya. She's a pretty blonde girl, she seems really shy, but I'll break her.." I don't finish reading that entry, but instead, I skip to a more recent date. "Tuesday, June 8th, 2012 Dear diary, today I spent the whole day with Maya, it was so fun! We went swimming, and I should say that she looked really good in her bathing suit.. But anyway, we had loads of fun together. And tomorrow she's spending the night at my house, can't wait!" That's the end of that entry. I start to think, 'are all of these about me?..' I continue looking through her diary, when Farkle calls me again. "Are you comming?!" He asked, sounding a little annoyed. "I'm sorry, got a little side tracked. I'm on my way now!" I hang up and look at Riley. I get some paper and a pencil and write her a note. I look at the diary beside me. I grab it and go out the window and go to Farkle's. I'm outside his house, about to knock on the door, when Farkle opens it. "Lady." He says in his flirtatious tone. I sigh and roll my eyes. "Come in." He moves out of the way so I can come in. I do and he leads me to his room and he closes his door. He begins talking, but I ignore him and open up Riley's diary again. Farkle waves his hand infront of my face. "Maya, what are you reading that's more important than what I'm telling you?!" He asked a little upset. I close it and set it to the side, making sure he doesn't see it. "Oh.. Just.." I rub the back of my neck. "A- book.." He grabs the diary and his eyes widen. "Maya, this is Riley's diary! Why do you have it?!?" He asked shocked. "Don't tell anyone I have this, okay! I was just curious, I found it, and.. Yeah.." "Does it say anything about me!" He asked excitedly. I open it up and look for something. "This does.." I say. "Read it!" I sigh. "Thursday, Februrary 2nd, 2007. Dear diary, there's a new kid at our school, his name is Farkle. He keeps flirting with me and he's kinda' creepy, I kept telling him to go away, but he kept bothering me. Until Maya stepped in and got him to leave me alone. I'm glad she did. I don't know what I would've done with out her." I look up at him and it looks like he's pouting. "Oh calm down, is little Farkle upset that Riley never liked him?" I asked in a funny tone. He rolls his eyes. "Whatever.." He then lightens up. "Maya! I have to tell you something, and you have to promise not to tell anyone, not even Riley." My eyes widen. "That's too much to ask for, nerd brain. She's my girl, I have to tell her everything." He looks at me with puppy dog eyes. "Maya please.. I trust you, Maya." He pleaded, his words causing my eyes to widen. "You.. Trust me?" I asked shocked. He smiles. "Of course I do, Maya. You're one of my best friends, why wouldn't I?" I smile slightly. "Alright, I promise I won't tell anyone, not even Riley." He smiles. "Good.. Maya, I know this may seem weird, but-" just then, his father comes in. "How are you two going up here?" I sigh and look at him. "Good, Mr. Minkus, sir.." "Do you two need anything?.. Anything at all, just ask." Farkle sighs. "We're good dad, thanks." His dad leaves the room. "Wait, if I can get free food, I'll take it." Farkle sighs. "Maya c'mon.. Focus.." I look at him. "Alright.. I'm sorry. So, what is it?" He looks down. "Well, I have a crush on someone.." My eyes widen. "But what about Riley and I, I thought you loved us." He looks at me and smiles. "I love you both so much. But you're dating eachother, so I thought I should move on.." He explained. My eyes widen and I realize. "Wait.. You said you were going to talk about Lucas- you-!" Farkle covers me mouth. "Maya calm down.. I do, but I don't want him to know.." "But why not?" I asked confused. He sighs and looks down. "Because he likes Riley.. He won't ever like me.. I'm jus-.. Me." I put my hand on his shoulder, "Farkle, that's exactly what I thoight about Riley. But her crush on Lucas was fake. She just didn't want me to know that she liked me, Lucas may be doing the same thing." Farkle lightens up. "Yeah! But, one more thing, would you mind asking him for me.. Please?" I roll my eyes. "Alright. Welp, I've gotta' get back to Riley now, bye." I grab her diary and leave back to Riley's. She's still asleep. 'Wait, what time is it?' I thought to myself. I pull out my phone. "Oh.." It's 12:34. I sit down on her bed and open up her diary and continue flipping through the pages, when I find one covered in Harts and.. My name doodled alot. "November 1st, 2014. Dear diary, last night I stayed at Maya's house all night, at first I was scared, but Maya protected and showed me the true beauty over there.. I've been thinking about her since I left her house.. I think I love her." That's the end of that entry. I get a little confused. "But she told me that she liked me for a couple years.. Was she lying.." I continue flipping through the pages of her diary. "March 4th, 2015." My eyes widen. This was the day before Riley told me.." I continue reading. "Dear diary, today Maya wore the best outfit today. She looked really good in it." There's a picture of me in there. My eyes widen and I blush a little. I flip back near the begining. "Friday, February 28th, 2012. Dear diary, I've known Maya for a while now, recently, I've been dreaming about her.. And day dreaming about her. I just wanna' kiss her soft looking lips.." That's the end of that entry. After I finish reading that, my face is red from blush. I continue flipping and reading. I've read all of the entrys and put it back in her drawer. "Wow.. She really has liked me for a while.." I look at her and smile. "I love you, Riley." I leaned down and kissed her forehead gently. I lay down and go back to sleep. I wake up the next morning to Riley kissing my cheek. I smile and look at her, causing her to smile and kiss me, as I kiss back. My phone vibrates, I look at it. I got a call from Farkle. I answer it. "Whatup?" I asked. "You talk to Lucas yet?" "Will do today, Farkle." "Thank you." I hang up and look at Riley. "Uhh, Riley, I need to go talk to Lucas about something.. Her eyes widen. "But he was gonna' let you die!" She said angrily. "Riley, calm down." I put my hand on her shoulder, calming her down. "I'm comming with you!" She said determined. My eyes widen. "You can't!.. I-I- mean.. You can't.. I promised Farkle I wouldn't tell.. I'm going over there for him." Riley sighs. "Alright.." I go towards the window. "Wait!" Riley started, I turned around. "Yeah?" She holds her arms out for a hug. I do her one better, I wrap my arms around her neck and kiss her passionatly. She kisses back as she wraps her arms around my waist, pulling our bodies together. I feel her tongue on my lips, I part them slightly, allowing her entry. I then pull away. "I love you, but I have to go." She sighs. "Okay.. Don't be long." I smile and kiss her gently. "Don't worry, I'll be back." I go out the window and go on my way to Lucas' house. I knock on the door. He comes and opens it, his eyes widen. "Maya, what are you doing here?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck. "I just need to talk to you.." I told him. He sighs. "Okay. Come in, I guess." He moves out of the way so I can come in, I do. "What do you need to talk to me about?" He asked. I look around. "Uhh, can we go to your room?" I asked. He rolls his eyes and sighs. "Alright.." I glare at him. "Hey, you need to stop getting an attitude. You almost let me die." His eyes widen. "I'm sorry about that, Maya.." I cross my arms. "Let's just go to your room.." He goes to his room as I follow close behind. We go into his room, he sits on his bed. I continue standing. "So, what do you need to talk to me about?" I go and shut the door. "Farkle." His eyes widen. "W-what about Farkle?.." He stuttered and looked down. It looks like he's blushing a little. I raise an eyebrow and smirk. "Tell me about him.." He looks back up at me with a confused look. "What do you mean?" He asked, obviously confused. "Tell me what you think about him, how he acts, how he looks. I want your opinion on him." "Uhh.. Okay," he starts, still confused, "well, he's a really smart guy and I'm glad he's my friend. He's cool to me, he may not be the most popular, but he's great." I think for a second and smirk. "Who do you have a crush on?" "Wha?.." He starts to blush. "Why would you ask that?.." I sigh and sit down next to him. "Who do you have a crush on?" I repeated myself. He sighs. "Promise not to tell?" I smile. "Promise." He looks down and mumbles something under his breath. "Sorry, didn't hear that, you gotta speak up, bucky!" I said in kind of a funny voice. He smiles and rolls his eyes. "I said.." He takes a deep breath and continues, "Farkle." My eyes widen as I smile, "well do I have some news for you! He likes you too!" His eyes widen as he smiles wide. "He does!" He said excitedly. "Yup. Go get 'em Ranger Rick!" I said in my funny fake country accent, causing him to smile. "Alright, alright. Well, I'll go see him now then.." I get up. "I'll go back to Riley's!" I start to walk he grabs my arm, stopping me. "No, come with me! Please, I don't want to tell him alone, he obviously trusts you.. I should too.." He looks down and sighs. "I'm sorry.." He looks back up at me. "I shouldn't have done that to you.. I shouldn't have even gone, I was just upset.. I'm sorry." I look at him with sympathy. "It's alright.. Let's go before Riley starts to wonder why I'm taking so long." He agrees and we head to Farkle's. We get there and knock on the door. When he opens it, his eyes widen. "Oh.. Hey, Lucas, Maya." He said hesitantly. "Can we come in, I want to talk to you." Lucas told him. He blushes slightly and moves out of the way to let us in. "Yeah.." We come in and Farkle leads us to his room and shuts the door. "So, what do you need?" Farkle asked, looking at Lucas as he went and sat on his bed. Lucas sat next to him. "Well.." He breaths in. A deafening silence falls over them. I sigh. "UGH! Somebody say something!" I yelled, annoyed. Lucas and Farkle look at eachother. "I like you." They said in unicent, both faces turning red. "You.. Like me?" Farkle said shocked. "I do.." Lucas then replied. They look at eachother for a second. Lucas then leans in and kisses Farkle. I smile. Farkle wraps his arms around Lucas' neck and Lucas wraps his arms around Farkle's waist. I leave the room and go on my way back to Riley's. I go up the fire escape and into her window. "I'm baaaack!" I said happily when I got in there. I look around, confused. She's not in here. "She must be in the living room." I said to myself and went to the living room. I saw her sitting on the couch. I smile and go to sit down next to her. I plop down beside her and wrap my arm around her. She's not moving. "Wait.." I get confused and look at the tv. It's frozen. "What is going on?.." I asked confused of what's happening. I then go back to Farkle's. As I go, I notice everything's frozen in time. I go into Farkle's room through the window. "Hey do yooouu.." I notice that they're frozen too and stop talking. "Wha- what?.." I then start to get worried. "What is happening?" I asked myself, getting more confused. I leave Farkle's and walk around. "What happened?.." I thought as I just look around at the frozen bodies and all the frozen nature. It's just so weird seeing bees and birds just floating in the sky. I sigh. "How am I supposed to fix this? How did this even happen? Is this even life?" I then look at my arm and pinch myself and sigh. "HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!?" I yell as I fall to my knees. I sit there for a couple seconds, just thinking. I then hear something. My eyes widen as I turn around quickly. "How are you not frozen too?!?"
