Third person's pov

[A/N- song suggestion, earned it by the weekend]

Holding her hand, he led her down the path to the table. She wanted to protest but he didn't let her. Without a choice, she reluctantly followed him. He sat on the chair, saying,

"Sit"

glaring at him, she sat. What kind of man he is, not a gentleman for sure! She thought when he didn't pull the chair for her to sit instead ordered her. Turning her face away from him towards the ocean, she took in the view, if only someone else and the situation were different she would have enjoyed this so-called forceful date and would be over the moon for being treated so specially. But alas she is so unlucky, the devil boring holes on the side of her head is her unwanted husband and date for tonight. Sighing, she licked her lips which felt too swollen and sensitive from his aggressive kissing. God, she hated it too much. Here she is, sitting across from him, if it were to her she would have been long gone.

Elijah looked at her, looking away. From the way she was behaving, he can tell she is back to being herself. Really, just kissing brought her back to herself. He should have done that before already. His doe really is so immature. Just do the things she doesn't like then boom she becomes annoying, irritated, and childish. That's what he likes about her. His lips twitch despite himself. He was still angry but he can control himself, and school his feelings and emotions. And right now he wants to enjoy this night and date with his doe whether she likes it or not. Picking up the napkin placed on the table, he spoke up,

"Look at me when I am with you"

gritting her teeth, she faced him. What does he think of himself, the controlling jerk! Thought Meera biting her tongue to not speak it out aloud. Fixing the napkin on his lap, he stared at her who sat tensed, doing nothing. She noticed him giving her a look, shifting uncomfortably in her seat, she asked him,

"What?"

"Well, don't just sit, follow my lead"

he told her lifting the lid off the plates placed on the table before him. After looking at her he waited for her to do the same. Whispering profanities under her breath, she reluctantly did the same. Seriously, he was getting on her nerves, the nerve of him ordering her around on their date, it should be him doing all these things for her but no!

Amusement lightened his face seeing her grumping. This is what he enjoyed the most. He felt his anger slowly dissipate. He began eating his food while gesturing for her to eat too. Tightly holding the fork and spoon, she with force dipped the spoon in the food. Scowling, she ate. She looked like an angry kitten drinking milk while holding the spoon and fork in her clenched claws. So hilarious and adorable. He could have laughed but instead, an amused smile graced his lips while he chewed. She saw him smiling, and feeling more irritated, she pointed the fork at him, raising her one eyebrow in warning. He chuckled softly, nodding. She raised and widened her eyes with sass pulling back her hand with the fork. He shook his head sideways.

They both ate the food in silence.

A piece of soft music broke the silent atmosphere suddenly. Meera perked up. Listening closely, it was earned it by the weekend. She wondered from where it started, who started it. Turning to him, he held up a remote showing her it was him. She narrowed her eyes, but he only stood up coming to her side. Holding her hand he said,

"Dance with me"

"What! No!"

not minding her words, he simply led her on the deck. Placing her other hand on his shoulder, he held her waist, pulling her closer to him. He swayed both of them to the music.
