I take a deep breath as I stand on his doorstep, not knowing how this night would end. I knock as I wait out in the heat as thankfulness floods through me as I have the heat to thank for revealing my soulmate. It was so hot I decided to wear a simple green dress with white polka dots with cup sleeves, while the hem went to my knees and a slight v-neck. The door opened, revealing Indy, dressed in the same outfit from school. "I was beginning to think you weren't going to come." He holds the door open for me. "I had to change into something cooler, and I got lost." I admit as I walk inside.

"Well, you look beautiful." He smirked as he looked me up and down.

"Thank you."

"Where are your books?"

"Oh, In my car." I tell him as I go to the door. "I'll get them; go sit at the table." He instructs. I go to the empty table as he walks outside. I couldn't help myself as I looked around the room.

There was a fireplace in the middle of the living room with vases and a candlestick decorating the mantle, book shelves on either side full to the brim, a desk off to the left that was cluttered with books and papers, a giant sofa off to the left, artifacts hung on top of the bookshelf, a proper house of a professor. The kitchen was nice and spacious, with counters on either side of the stove and a lovely wooden light brown round kitchen table with four chairs. Indy comes back in with my bookbag setting it on the table. "What do you have in that thing? A dead body."

"Not yet." I tell him as I open it up, pulling out my books.

"How much homework do you have?"

"An essay for mythology, a paper on the singing of the Declaration of independence, did you give homework?" I list off before looking up at him thoughtfully.

"Yes, I did." He crossed his arms, looking down at me. "Weren't you paying attention?"

"Not at all; my mind left the building as soon as you rolled your sleeves up." I admit truthfully.

He snorts then shakes his head. "You know I don't appreciate you teasing me during class. I was trying to teach, and you made me look a fool."

"My way of getting revenge." I don't bother to look at him as I open my mythology book. "If I recall correctly, you were smiling ear to ear as soon as you felt me again. You also held my hand and grazed it with your thumb. I enjoyed seeing you smile after avoiding me and being depressed."

"I had my reasons."

"Which were what? To hurt me and make me feel unwanted and alone?" I look up at him as I slam my book shut.

"You were the one who shut me out. Now open that book and study; we aren't talking about anything else until it's done." He points his finger at me sternly. I glare at him before rolling my eyes and opening my book back again. "Of course." I muttered under my breath. Sure, it's all my fault because I shut him out, not that he went and fucked some tramp. He was the one who fucked up and did me wrong and goes and blames me. I only took myself away from him because I didn't want his fake-ass love. I've been faithful to him from day one, and he goes and has sex with someone while I wait for him. He makes me so frustrated! I want to throw all of my books at him for doing this to me! I glanced up at him to see he had his back to me while cooking something on the stove. "I can feel your anger. You need to focus." He plainly says.
