I put on the red dress and looked in the mirror, ready to go to this wedding alone and watch my best friend live out my dream. I'm happy for her, but inside I wish I was in her shoes and I could marry the man I love. I walk out to see Indy on the couch, reading his book, ready to relax for the night. He looked up at me with admiration as his mouth was slightly agape. "You look stunning." He tells me.

"Thank you; I wish I weren't going alone," I admit. We closed the connection for a little bit because my thoughts were too distracting for him to focus. Whenever he has to teach or just wants some alone time, he shuts the door, but I can still feel his emotions and heartbeat. We usually open that door on weekends when we don't need to focus. "I know, sweetheart. Listen, since it will be summer break and you are about to finish your first year, I have a surprise for you." He smiles his breathtaking white grin.

"Really?" I smile, completely excited. What does he have planned? Are we going on a trip?

"Yes, so go have fun tonight, and then we can pack tomorrow." He tells me as he takes his glasses off. I walk over to him and place a peck on his lips before going to the door. "You still gonna pick me up?"

"Yes, I'll open the connection so you can tell me when and where to pick you up." He tells me as he turns the page of his book.

"Alright." I walk out with my keys and drive over to Danielle's, and park in the driveway. I went in and helped her get ready as I reassured her. She was feeling the pre-wedding jitters, and I tried my best to calm her down. Her mom helped her into her dress after I did her hair and makeup, turning her into a bride. "Harley, I don't know what I would have done if I didn't meet you." She tells me with a grin on her face. I smile as I fix her veil and look at her reflection in the mirror. "You would have been just fine and still met your soulmate." I smile at her.

"No, I wouldn't have and never talk to him." She smiles at me. I smile at her, and we put the last finishing touches on her before walking out the door. We get into the limo and make our way to the chapel for her big day. I couldn't help but think about my wedding day and how I wanted to do it. I can picture it now, Indy standing up front waiting for me to arrive while my papa gave me his arm. My papa slowly walked me down the aisle as our guests stand watched us. Indy had a smirk on his face that turned into a giant grin as he never took his eyes off of me. My papa gave me a way to him, and I never broke eye contact with Indy. "Harley?" I felt a hand on my arm, snapping me out of my thoughts. I turned to see Danielle staring at me with concern written all over her face as he looked at me. "Yes?"

"Are you okay?" She asks me softly. I looked at her, then to her mom, who glared at me, probably being down at her daughter's wedding day. "Oh yes, I'm just thinking. I'm so excited for you, and I can't wait for you to start your journey together." I smile at her. Her mom nodded her head as her brown curls bounced with her. The rest of the girls in the limo started giggling and talking her up. It was mostly her cousins that were bridesmaids because she's not very good at making friends. We arrive at the chapel and get out of the limo going inside as I hold her dress for her. We wait behind the doors and line up in our spots next to the groomsmen. "I take it you haven't found your soulmate yet either?" The best man asks me. I looked at him and noticed he was a handsome man, and I would have never thought Eugene would be friends with this handsome jock. He had blonde hair combed to the side, light blue eyes, and sun-kissed skin; he was about Indy's height. "No," I answered him quietly.

"That makes two of us. I'm Mark, Eugene's brother." He holds his hand out to me. That makes sense; I guess Mark got the looks in the family. "Harley, Danielle's best friend." I introduced myself with a nod.

"How about we stick together? It would be nice to have someone who relates for this damn wedding. Kinda depressing seeing other people live out your dream before you do." He tells me.
