Nat's POV

"Y/N/N" I whisper into the space in front of me, lightly tapping her face to try and wake her up.

I've already patched her major wounds up the best I could with the help of Wanda. I'm currently wiping her face clean, and placing stitches wherever necessary.

"Nat, I can try and pull her out of her unconscious state." Wanda suggests

"I really want you to, but I also don't want to hurt her further. Her body clearly knows what it needs..." I whimper

"Yeah.. I guess you're right... I just don't like not knowing..."

Before I can respond to Wanda we hear a grunt, and I look hopefully at Y/N.
False alarm, which means it's none other than Captain Dipshit, good, I can distract myself with an ass whooping.

"What's she doing here?" He groans out.

"Well, as you can see, she's fighting for her life you asshole. Such a threat she is, huh?" I bitterly reply, turning to face him.

"She's a double agent, I literally saw —." He starts, revealing his dishonesty earlier, and realizing he fucked up when he receives death glares from Wanda and I.

"Saw her what?" I seethe, and Wanda steps forward with red tendrils falling from her hands.

"Look.. I had a mission, and that was to protect my family. I did that!" He tries to deflect

"Oh just shut up, we're far from damsels in distress here. When did you see her Steve?" I growl, running low on patience with his shady ass.

"When you sent me to search for her, I saw her and Strucker. They were talking, and he was asking her for the information she was meant to collect."

"First, I didn't send you, you offered. Now, what information did she give up?" I question him, knowing deep down that she wouldn't give anything up.

"Um... Well, I left before I could hear that. I just knew in that moment I had to get you two to safety. Seeing that Strucker was here led me to believe we were in for a bad ordeal." He mumbles out a response.

"So, your assumptions are unfounded, and now she's lying here nearly dead?!"

"They're not unfounded! She's literally Hydra Natasha! He had his hand on her shoulders like they were best buddies. He smiled at her, and talked sweetly, if she was uncomfortable she would've made that clear. Face the betrayal, and cuff the traitor." He shouts at me, and before I can launch my attack I feel a gentle hand wrap around my wrist.

Y/N's POV

I came to to the sound of shouting, not the most pleasant way to awake, but by the sound of the voices I know I'm safe.

Well, I thought I was until I heard Steve shouting nonsense about me being a traitor.
I could sense Natasha was getting worked up, so I fight the pain and reach for her.

I can hear the moment that everyone stills, and turns to face me. I slowly open my eyes, instantly regretting it.

"He-ey." I cough out, squeezing her wrist the best I could.

"Shh, lyubov, don't speak." Natasha commands.

I gently nod, wincing as I feel immense pain from the simple gesture. I drop her hand, and reach in the direction I know Wanda's in.

*Look. It's okay.*

*Y/N/N, are you sure?*

I shakily pull her towards me and place her hand on my head, granting her access.

*I don't need him stressing her anymore than I already have, so it's okay if everyone sees this memory.*

As she enters my mind, I'm channeling the memory, but doing so drains me of my energy, and I slip back into a state of unconsciousness.

No One's POV

Natasha, Steve and Wanda stood still as they began to see what exactly happened when Y/N had lost connection through the comms.

They watched as the realization hit Y/N that this was a trap, they watched as she lost all advantages.

"So, you got the info we've been waiting for you to collect agent?" Strucker questions Y/N, leaving her with a confused expression.

"What's your play here Strucker? I don't have any information for you, I'd never give you anything."

"Oh, I know that, but it seems your teammate's doubts were enough for him to leave you in my hands, completely at my mercy."

"So, your ploy was to turn the guy who already didn't trust me against me? Smart.
However, you failed to understand that the others do trust me."

"Is that why they're leaving the building together?" He questions her, with an evil grin.

"Well damn, silly me, I guess that just means you and I come to an end together then." Y/N chuckles in response, clearly trying to throw Strucker off.

Natasha glares in Steve's direction, and he seems to be looking down trying to sort his thoughts out. Before she has a chance to further scold the man, another set of memories starts to play.
