No One's POV

As Wanda had attempted to pull out of Y/N's mind, she instead found herself locked in. Steve, Natasha, and Wanda watch on as a loop of Y/N's most formative memories are on display.

— Happy Days (3 years old)

Y/N woke up to a loud bang in the middle of the night, and she was absolutely terrified. She began to cry, and then she heard hurried footsteps approaching her room. She pulled her blanket, and teddy up to her face, trying to hide from the potential boogie man. She felt the blanket being gently tugged and she began to whimper.

"Hey peanut, it's just me." Tony announces.

"Tones?" She questions skeptically, aware that monsters can play tricks.

"Yes, it's me. Can you come out of hiding please."

"Nuh uh. How do I know it's really you?"

"Why don't you just look and find out."

"No. That's exactly what the monster would say. What's my favorite food?"

"Mac and cheese."

"Wait. That's too easy. What's my Teddy's name?"

"Mr. Hugs A Lot."

Y/N feels an easiness set over her as she hears his answer, dropping the blanket only enough to peek over it.

"Boo!" Tony shrieks, then attacks her with tickles.

"I never said I wasn't a tickle monster." He laughs out while his little sister squirms beneath him in fits of laughter.

— Hard Feelings (4 Years)

Y/N was in her playroom, playing with her dolls, but she was growing increasingly frustrated. Her big brother usually plays with her, but he hasn't in quite a long time, and now he's gone. She threw the Ken doll across the room, and that alerted her mother Maria to her daughters sour mood.

"My baby girl, what ever seems to be the problem?" She asks as she slowly approaches Y/N.

"Tony's a big fat meany." She grumbles, crossing her arms, and huffing.

"Aww, baby, what did I say about talking about people like that?"

"That it's okay when mommy says it about dada when drinking her special juice, but never any other time."

Maria laughs boisterously at her daughters childlike innocence, and then lowers herself until she's seated besides her.

"Well, yes, I maybe have said that. But that's not what I'm trying to say sweetheart. How about you tell me what's happening ok."

"I miss him mama. He doesn't play dolls with me anymore, he doesn't tickle me, and he left without saying goodbye."

"Baby, Tony's a big boy now, he's going through a different chapter of his life. He's in college now, so he's got to go live his own adult life for awhile. I can see that he hurt your feelings, but you have to forgive him okay?"

"I don't wanna mama. He be'd so mean to me, and I'm so mad now."

"It's okay to be mad little one, but you cannot hold onto that anger baby. Holding a grudge is the biggest disservice to mankind."

"What does that even mean mama?" Y/N questions, slowly climbing into her mother's lap.

"Well, if you don't forgive people for what they've done to you then you are still going to be hurt. They're out there living their life, most likely happier than ever, and you'll be sitting alone in your anger. Also, I'm Tony's mama too, and trust me, he loves you baby. He's just being a bit of a tough guy right now."
