It has been weeks after the Discussion Conference ended

The situation in Jianghu is sceptical and uncertain.

The Wens have burned and dispersed more small sects yet, what can other small sects do? They have much smaller forces than the Qishan Wen. If the Wens decided it is their turn to be massacred and disintegrated, no one can help.

As for the big sects, they won't and wouldn't be able to send more cultivators to help the smaller sects.

Take Yunmeng Jiang, for example.

The Jiang sect's location is not ideal to send aid and support to surrounding sects or further smaller sects.

Qishan and Yunmeng are connected with the river and Yiling has been under the Wen sect.

Although Yiling's position is uncertain since it is a poor city abandoned by its ruler and the custody has been fought for over years, the Wen cultivators and guards have been roaming near Yiling, thus unofficially Yiling is under the Wens.

If the Wens decided to show their power to the other major sects, Yunmeng Jiang will suffer the loss first.

Not because of their fighting skill, but their sect's location is the farthest from any other sects.

You probably thinking about why Qinghe is not attacked yet.

You see, Qinghe is nearer to Qishan, but the maniac Wen Ruohan is not someone who is dumb.

Everyone in the Jianghu knows the brotherhood bond between the current Nie-Zongzhu, Nie Mingjue and the First Jade Of Lan, Lan Xichen.

If the Wens attack the Qinghe Nie, Nie Mingjue will be raged and the Gusu Lan sect will send aid as soon as they can.

After that, the chain will end in an early war, which Wen can't afford now, and finished up with the Wen sect massacre.

They need to take over more sects, massacred the cultivators, and gather more power before they can launch attacks on the rest of the major sects.

Not to mention Lanling Jin.

That Jin Guangshan is not a loyal person, Wen Ruohan knows.

He is a boot-licker and has a mindset of a businessman.

"If it doesn't profit me, I won't help you

If it profits me, I will help you with a price"

Although the Lanling Jin is under Wen Ruohan's pity right now, they could turn against Wen just simply because they are losing to the joined force to take down the Wen Sect, and the substantial amount of money that they have, almost as par with the Wens.

The only problem here is Jin Guangshan, Wei Wuxian thinks

Jin Guangshan is a Jin-Zongzhu and his loyalty is uncertain. In his last life, he keeps his loyal puppy act and licking Wen Ruohan's ass until the Sunshot Campaign turned the table because of him and his Demonic Cultivation.

He's also an untrustable individual.

Will it help the Sunshot Campaign if I assassinate Jin Guangshan early?

Because it would be in much delight to see a future tyrant eliminated early and rest in his grave prematurely.

It'll be much more delightful if Jin Guangshan died in a brothel, surrounded by the prostitutes of the lower class.
