Two years ago (first year of senior high school)
Part Two
(Togara's POV)
"Togara!" My sister shouted as she knocked at my bedroom door.
"Hauu..." I said as I felt a little tired.
"Wake up! You're late!" My sister shouted.
"Huh!" I said as I got up.
I quickly got dressed as I packed my things.
"It's the second day of school and your already- " My sister said as I walked past her, cutting her off.
"Hey! Don't cut off people when they're talking!" My sister shouted.
"Sorry!" I said as I dash to the door, leaving the house.
I already missed the first class. Can't miss another one!
As I was running, I bumped into a girl, causing her to fall to the ground.
"I'm so sorry!" I said as I look to see the girl.
"Nakamura?" I said.
"Hisayoshi-san?" She said.
"Aren't you supposed to be in school right now? What're you doing here?" I asked.
"I woke up late..." She said as she got up from the floor
"You too huh..." I said.
After a few minutes, both of us walked to school together.
"It's our second day of high school and we already got work to do..." I said.
"Yeah...but guess what." She said.
"What," I said.
"I met some new people." She said.
"Really?" I asked.
"But they're not cool people..." She said.
"What does that mean?" I asked.
"They're just some geeks." She said.
"What's wrong with geeks?" I asked.
"They're not that fun to hang out with." She said.
"But am I not a geek?" I asked.
"I don't know, are you?" She asked.
"Well, I read books in my spare time, study for my exams, and enjoy playing board games. Doesn't that make me some sort of a geek?" I asked.
"Well is that all you do?" She asked.
"Not always, I have different things that I do on different days," I said.
"Then..." Tenume said as she went in front of me, holding her hands behind her back as she leaned forward.
"You're just a normal person." She said as she smiled.
I leaned back as I scratched my head. "Yeah...guess I am," I said.

[In School: Mrs. Tayama's class]
"You guys missed three classes..." Yugisawa said as class was about to begin.
"Yeah..." Me and Nakamura said as both of us knew that there's gonna be a punishment along the way.
"Okay bring out your textbooks. We're reviewing chapter 3 for the upcoming quiz next week." Mrs. Tayama said as she walked into the classroom.
"Already?" The students said as they groaned.
"It's only day two though..." A student said.
"Yeah, it's only day two. Better get ready for day three because I don't think you'll survive much longer." Mrs. Tayama said.
"How do I unenroll this class?" The student asked.
"Looks like your students don't like you..." The PE teacher said as he was leaning against the doorway.
"And aren't you supposed to be at the gymnasium?" Mrs. Tayama asked.
"I'm just seeing how my sister is doing." The PE teacher said.
"Ehh? You guys are siblings?" Nakamura asked as the PE teacher nodded to her question.
"But your last name is Sataka and her's is Tayama..." Nakamura said.
"She's married..." I said to Nakamura as I did a facepalm.
"This is getting off-topic. Get out of here. Shoo shoo." Mrs. Tayama said as she shooed Mr. Sataka away.
"Oh yeah." Mr. Sataka said as he came back into the classroom. "You guys need to stay after school today." He said as he pointed to me and Nakamura.
"Yeah, I know..." I said as I sighed.
"Didn't I tell you to get out?" Mrs. Tayama asked.
"Yes yes, I'm going." He said.

[After-school]
Me and Nakamura were sitting in our seats as we were waiting to get out of here.
"Oh, what're you guys doing here?" Mr. Sataka asked as he came into the empty classroom.
"You told us to stay after school. Have you forgotten?" Nakamura asked.
"Right right. I was just joking." He said as he took a seat.
"So how is it like?" He asked.
"How is what like?" Nakamura asked.
"Matsubara Senior High. What do you think of it?" He asked.
"It's a good school," Nakamura said.
"Kyoto's Top Ten. We're currently in 4th place y'know? It's a great school trust me." He said.
"How long have you been in this school?" Nakamura asked.
"For about five years." He said.
"Do you know who Shino Hisayoshi is?" I asked.
"Shino Hisayoshi?" He asked as I nodded.
"Nope, haven't heard that name." He said.
"Oh...I thought you might've known about her since she attended this school before." I said.
"Wait her name is Shino?" Nakamura asked.
"Yeah," I said.
"She's my grandfather's nurse," Nakamura said.
"Really?" I asked as I was surprised.
[Flashback: The old man and the nurse from Rin's backstory are Tenume's grandfather and Togara's sister.]
"Yeah!" She said.
"I miss the youth days..." Mr. Sataka said as he leaned back.
"How old are you?" I asked.
"You know it's rude to ask an adult about their age." He said.
"I'm guessing he's about forty!" Nakamura said.
"Oi!" He said.
"No, probably thirty..." I said.
"Oi!" He said.
"By the way what's your first name?" Nakamura asked Mr. Sataka.
"You kids are just too young..." He said as he sighed.
"If we're too young then your too old..." Nakamura said.
"Well look at the time. It's time for you to get moving. Shoo shoo." He said as he shooed us away.
"Have a good day," I said as the two of us left the classroom.
"Kids these days..." He said as he sighed.
