|That's Just How [name] Is|

After Mikey was finished with his hang out with Takemichi, he immediately went to pick [name] up.

Sticking to his promise, he even bought twenty dorayaki for them to binge on. Leaning on his bike, he patiently waits for the girl.

"[name]-chin!" Mikey's bright voice reaches her ear. Looking up to see the blonde she walks towards him while waving.

"I haven't heard you call me that in a while." she smiles, her eyes falling on the bag on which she saw the drawing of hot coffee.

She could recognize that logo anywhere.

"Is that...?" she points to the bag as Mikey nods. Her eyes sparkle.

"Let's go to the park we used to hang out in. Hop on!" Mikey says, getting on his bike.

[name] follows, hanging her school bag from her shoulder she gets on the bike behind him. 

She slips her hand between his hands and waist and almost places them around his waist but instead trails her hands to place them on his shoulder, hugging his lean figure.

She leans forward, turning her face sideways, and places her cheek softly on his back.

When they were younger, Mikey did take her for a lot of bike rides, so neither of them thought too much about the position they were in.

 Well, [name] didn't. 

Mikey on the other hand felt his heartbeat spiking dangerously, cheeks getting hotter at the touch of his long-time crush.

Thanks to her enhanced hearing, [name] could easily hear his heartbeat rise, a smirk making its way on her lips.

Of course, she knew about his infatuation with her. She would hear Emma and Shinichiro blab about it all day long. 

[name] always acted oblivious to it, because otherwise, it would be boring.

Honestly, she did have a crush on him but did she go to him?

No.

Instead, she went to everybody else but him, who was it that she dated? Yeah, Baji.

Even though they only went on four dates, he was her favorite. Why?

Because he was Mikey's childhood friend of course. 

The look on Mikey's face was priceless when he first saw them. 

Obviously, she never let anyone get her first kiss, she had that reserved for Mikey. 

She knows that would be going too far because if she ever saw another girl with Mikey—

Well, that girl would be a dead girl.

So she just went on dates here and there.

She went as far as to get chocolates and flowers for Emma which led to the girl getting a small crush on the older female.

For her this was fun. 

Playing with his feelings, pushing him to confess first, all the while seeming innocent, Shinichiro never doubted her, not even Mikey!

He honestly thought she didn't feel the same, so he never confessed.

She loved to look at the helpless Mikey.

That's just how [name] is.
