[name] had immediately fled home, quickly changing out of her school uniform to the kisatsutai one. Putting on her haori. 

She had 15 minutes before the meeting started so she run her way there.

She wondered if this meeting was about what she and Kiriya had discussed. She was really hoping for her to be wrong, but this sudden hashira meeting had started to make her anxious.

This was the only time she could only wish to not be correct.

"Has the curse really been lifted Kiriya-kun?" The entire room goes silent at the words that came out of [name]'s mouth. The silence was suffocating, the Ubuyashiki twins felt tense due to the atmosphere.

[name] was making just another weekly visit to the Ubuyashiki estate. Today she finally decided to confront the young male about her observations from her previous visits.

Kiraya lets out a small sigh, his eyes tearing up slightly.

"No, it hasn't, [name]-nee-san..." he mutters. [name] felt her heartbeat spiking slightly in fear.

"It's alright Kiraya-kun, this curse has been in your family for a very long time, I'm sure it's just some sort of side effect...?" [name] says in a questioning tone.

"Yeah, either that or Muzan is still alive..." Kiriya says the words [name] refused to. 

"Don't be so negative, Kiriya-kun—" she gets cut off.

"No, [name]-nee-san! I'm telling you he's alive! That's the only explanation! It seems like the most valid reason..." he trails off slightly.

"I see." [name] can't really go against him, she still remembers how his foresight was sometimes even better than Okaykata-sama himself.

"I trust your words Kiriya-kun, if in the future you get any sort of proof that your speculation is correct then call me, I will make sure to help you." She says, smiling slightly.

Kiriya nods.

"...but, only when you get solid proof. We can't rely on the hypothesis that we arbitrarily made, okay? So don't go and do something that could risk your life." She says in a stern voice.

Kiriya nods once again.

"I won't, [name]-nee."

[name] had finally reached the Ubuyashiki Estate and was now standing in the engawa area where all the hashiras gathered before the meeting.

It was 7:30 PM and she could only wonder why no one else was there. 

Was she the only one who was called? 

She had been hoping to see Giyu and her previous sensei, Sanemi here when she arrived but was met with no one.

During the wait, she had been so lost in thought that when she heard footsteps nearing her, she flinched slightly.

She cursed at herself for letting her guard down while daydreaming about her crush, Mikey.

She can't help it! At the end of the day, she's still a teenage girl.

She turns around to face the approaching figure -- her eyes widening at the sight of a familiar red-head. 

She wondered why he was here when he was never named a hashira.

"[name]! You're here!" Tanjiro gives a bright smile and waves at her.

"Tanjiro-nii-san...?"
