Tʜᴇ sᴇᴄᴏɴᴅ ᴡɪɴɴᴇʀ

A few days of Venti romancing M/n up while they translate was enough for M/n to truly lower his high walls, it was sweet of the Archon to be so attentive but M/n had an odd feeling. Whenever he and Venti were in the office doing their daily translations, M/n felt eyes on his back and when Venti would leave the office, he felt a strong aura approach and he'd leave the office immediately, keeping to open spaces with a good amount of people in it. Lucky for him, he lives with Kaeya so there wasn't much to worry about.

However, today he was tired of this little game of stalking and boldly opens his office window when Venti leaves for the day to relax at Angel's Share.
"Oi, oi! I know you're out there, just come and stop being a creep!"M/n was seething at this point as he backs away from a figure that sits on the open window ceil.

"Who are you."

"A pilgrim such as yourself, M/n."M/n knew that voice and now that he sees the person stalking him, he looked very familiar.
"Holy shit, you're Ashe! The other winner whose design was chosen for a character that was originally from Fontaine but was trapped in Inazuma when the decree happened."

"Right on the nose, nice of you to remember that. Don't worry, I remember your character just as well. Younger brother to Kaeya Alberich, and the second known top student from Mondstadt to graduate from the academy in Sumeru."M/n nods, he remembers meeting the creator of the vessel just before the Livestream. He was calm now, there wasn't anything to worry about anymore.
"Wait, why are you here?"

"I came to see if I was the only one. When the power went out, I saw something in the room with us, someone that wasn't supposed to be real but apparently I was wrong, and our perception of real and fake is botched to hell.
Maybe this world is parallel to ours and the creator is writing all that they see from some type of portal, in which they make this world seem as if it were a game in ours. Fucking genius!"Ashe throws his hands up after fully entering the room. He takes a seat on the edge of M/n's desk, pushing a few books out of the way in the process.
"You said a portal right?"

"Go ahead and give up my friend. They can't take anything or drop anything into it. Meaning we can't leave out of it. Next question."

"Well, how is it that our characters are in this world if we created them?"

"Temporary prophets. What we thought was our creation was guided by her. And by that I mean, another goddess of some sort who blessed us enough to bring attention to the characters we thought were our creations. We were pre-picked from the beginning, for what? No idea right now."Ashe explains while inspecting his nails for a second then turning his eyes to glance at M/n.
"Gotta admit, your cute both in our world and this one-"

"Save it for someone who needs it, I'm being courted by Venti~"

"Well, they say shoot your shot and I did."They laugh, it was refreshing for them both but now M/n was hit with another problem, If it was true about the portal...They couldn't leave Teyvat at all.
"Anyway, I'm researching on how to go home but...You just made it a bit more complicated."

"So that's what these books are, I hope you didn't need to research in a specific order."

"Yes but the order is easier fixable."They carry on the conversation until the door to the office was suddenly thrown open and Venti runs in, quickly shutting the door behind him.
"Venti, what's going on?"

"Whatever do you mean, Windblume?"

"You only run to my office when Diluc is looking for the tab or you really wanted to see me."Venti chuckles dryly but yelps when a loud bang comes from the other side of the door. Before Venti could answer M/n's question, his eyes turn to the man sitting on the desk.
"Who is that?"

"A friend from Fontaine."
