M/n has finally been released from his prison and couldn't be happier, Venti was also over the moon because he had a date in mind. While the two lovers frolic happily around Mondstadt, Xeno was sitting at Good Hunter with Lumine and Paimon before he figured out what to do for the rest of the day.
"Ugh, look at them being affectionate...Don't they know some of us are single?"

"Well, Paimon thinks you wouldn't be single if you stopped being so proud."

"Pft!"Lumine covers her mouth to stop her laughter, Paimon was right but she didn't expect her to say it out loud and in front of his face. Xeno was baffled by Paimon's straightforwardness, he couldn't even come up with a rebuttal to combat what was said. So he pouts angrily while looking off to the side thus catching sight of a certain blondie.
"What is that idiot doing over there?"

"Ashe? Oh, he's helping out Timaeus with some of his Alchemy projects since M/n was at home healing but pretty soon those two will head out on commissions of their own when Venti is done hogging him."Lumine said with a light giggle, however, she didn't notice that Xeno lingers on Ashe for a moment longer before turning his eyes elsewhere.
"Tsk, it's not like I cared. Anyway, what are you going to do for the rest of the day since we got a head start on commissions this morning?"

"Hmm, I might go visit my boyfriend and girlfriend for a while in Liyue!"

"Boyfriend and girlfriend?!"

"Hehehe, yep! My darlings Childe and Yelan, they're soooo cute! I used to say I didn't have a type but apparently, my type is tall, mysterious, and Hydro bow users, who knew!"Lumine starts to fangirl over her lovers and Xeno couldn't help but stare in disgust.
Hmph, I'll die before I act like the love birds in the city.
The Anemo user sighs and bids Lumine farewell, he couldn't take the gushing any longer and ends up walking by Ashe and Timaeus.
"Well, well! If it isn't the pigeon-"

"You're just doing that to make me angry..."

"And it's working!"Ashe laughs brightly at this, teasing the older male was a fun part of his day whenever he got the chance to. Xeno found no joy in this and leaves immediately before he could think about lashing out at the human. Yet, he felt his stomach flutter for a moment, just a quick moment.

Since there wasn't much to do in the peaceful city, Xeno went to the highest place he could think of to hide away from everyone; the top of the church. He figured that no one goes there so it was the perfect spot to unwind for a while, a place where he could see everything.
"Can't believe that small floating child calls me proud... hmph I beg to differ. I have standards, that's all..."

"Dude your so-called standards are too damn high."

"AAAAHHH!!"Xeno's startled scream was luckily muffled by the loud ringing of the church bells. Once he noticed it was just the Thorn in his side called Ashe, he facepalms.
"So this where you run off too! You really are a bird."

"You climbed up here just to continue mocking me?!" Ashe threw his hands up while smirking.
"Sorta, I usually come here at night but I caught a glimpse of you flying up and got a bit curious. That's all I wanted, so I'll get out of your hair before I get tangled in it."

"No one is making you leave, so why?"

"Uh because for once you look sorta peaceful and it appears I'm annoying you in some fashion so I'm choosing to leave of my own accord... Unless mister stuck up wants me to stay-"

"Like hell! Leave, you're right, you are bothering me. Best we keep to personal schedules so we don't cross paths like this again."Though his words were a tab bit harsh, the fluttering in his body wouldn't leave, it made him uncomfortable and he hated it more than anything.
"Fine by me."Ashe vanished in a pillar of fire and appears down below near the statue.
"What is this annoying feeling in my stomach and chest? Grr, he must be doing something to me..."Somehow, Xeno couldn't believe his own words.
"It can't be what I think it is...Hell no, my heart will always belong to lord Barbatos..No matter what."He bit his lip until it bleed, how could this be a feeling he has for someone who isn't his beloved Venti?

The wind soon turns violent before he leaves the highrise hideaway, leaving the city entirely.
