Just as M/n said, he kept his distance from the bard and it was not going well for Venti and Kaeya was first to notice the disconnect. The older brother didn't understand and took to interrogating Venti.
"What did you do to my baby brother? Why does he seem distant with you? He doesn't usually ignore people to this height."

"I have no idea what I did! When I try to speak with him, he just says he's busy which I know is true but it's been happening every day for the last week! Maybe I should give him a bottle of his favorite wine to make up for whatever I did!"Venti was panicking, he couldn't understand what he did. However, the bard had no idea it had nothing to do with him.
"Humans are finicky creatures-"

"Excuse me!?"Kaeya barks back, his once relaxed demeanor changes into one ready to fight if needed, he didn't like Xeno's tone one bit. Venti even turns to look at the white-haired male in a bit of shock.
"Xeno, that was inappropriate. What's gotten into you as if late?"Xeno shrugs and Kaeya scoffs harshly, he now knew the problem and it was next to Venti but he knew his brother wasn't one to get jealous. He quickly tells Venti to head to Angels Share to get M/n's favorite drink and snack to make it up to the younger male.
"I didn't see M/n in his office but Ashe was sleeping there, I assume he'd know where M/n is but you'd have to wake up a grumpy pyro vision welder who been up for early work. I wish you luck, I'm going to speak with Jean for a bit."Kaeya chuckles on his way off from the two. Oh, how he could feel M/n putting Xeno in his place.

Venti made haste, he didn't enjoy M/n-less days one but the situation was just making him nervous, what if he did something wrong and did notice?!
He nearly throws the door to the bar open and Diluc scowls from the abrupt entrance, he opens his mouth to tell at Venti, but the worry pouring off the Archon stops him.
"What can I do for you?"

"I need a bottle of M/n's favorite wine!"

"Whose paying-"

"I am!"Venti quickly drops a bag of Mora on the bar counter, this was serious and Diluc knew that now.
"What did you do."

"I don't know! I swear to you, I haven't the slightest idea but I need to apologize for it!"

"Free of charge, fix whatever it is and fix it fast or you'll have me to deal with."Venti nods quickly, takes the bottle, and nearly sprints off but Xeno stops him.
"Calm down, it isn't that serious."

"You must be new to town, when M/n isn't himself, it's a big deal. He's passive-aggressive and can be petty, some would say he learned from the best."Diluc turns his back to clean a few glasses, just as Kaeya once did, he too understood the problem.
"I can't wait to see how this ends."

"Neither can I, Rosaria... Aren't you supposed to be in the Cathedral?"

"Clearly."

Venti and Xeno reach the Favonius headquarters, upon entering M/n were speaking with Albedo. Which seemed serious since the two were rarely seen together.
"I'm sure we can work something out. When are you most available to come up to visit me in my lab? I'm sure I have a book or two I cannot use but you can."

"Well, aren't you charming?"

"I try, alright I'll see you later."Before leaving Albedo made sure to acknowledge Venti and Xeno.
"Venti, what brings you and your dear friend to the knights. What luck you have might I add, I just came back from lunch with darling Eula so Ashe could sleep. So whatever it is let's talk about it here."

"I'm sorry!"

"Huh? Sorry for what?"M/n asked, folding his arms across his chest with an innocent tilt, he was a good actor and if Xeno didn't know he could have been fooled.
"Aren't you...Mad at me?"

"Venti, why would I ever be mad at you. I'm just doing as told for once, guess it's backfiring because you came straight to me, my darling bard~"M/n reaches to touch Venti's cheek, contact that he was searching but Xeno grabs M/n's wrist.
