A few weeks before this day, M/n was suddenly bombarded with memories of someone his previous considered as a friend and thought it would be a good idea to invite the male to Mondstat to reconnect. Ashes was none the wiser to this now being occupied with Xeno and helping out at the winery.
M/n was waiting just outside of the city for his friend. Thinking about how this would work and the male's personality...
"Well I'll be damned, you waited out here for me."M/n's head snaps over to the one he was waiting for however upon eye contact, a new wave of memories rush into M/n's mind causing him to blush. The man in front of him was the previous M/n's casual fling!!

Oh shit...I JUST INVITED HIS OLD FUCK BUDDIE TO MONDSTAT!!!!

M/n mouth opened and closed like a fish because what was he to do!? From what he could tell, no one knew about this man!!
"M/n?"

"Uh! Hey Wriothesley! We-Welcome to Mondstat!! How have you been over the last two years?"The gothic man smiles as he closes the gap.
"It's been business as usual, just heartbroken that a certain someone never sent a letter to me after leaving Fontaine."

"Oh hehehe...Sorry...My life got kinda crazy here in my home nation.."M/n tries to laugh it off and quickly ushers the male into the city and changes the subject as best as he could.
Oh my fucking god!! I can't believe I did this by accident! I just thought they were friends!
Eventually, the awkwardness melts and M/n was able to calmly show the tall man around while keeping the conversation from drifting anywhere he didn't want it to.
"Last! Welcome to Angels Share! My older brother owns his place, Luc!! You're tending the bar today! Diluc met my friend Wriothesley!"The two shake hands with a formal greeting, the younger of the three orders two drinks and takes Wriothesley to the second floor for a calm night of drinking.

It was a surprise to run into Kaeya and M/n happily introduces the two.
"It's good to see that my baby brother has more friends. You two relax here, I'm going to bother Diluc while I drink~"

"Don't get set on fire today."

"I'll try my best! Buh-bye~"Kaeya hurries off like a swift cold wind to bother the oldest leaving M/n and Wriothesley to chuckle and then take their seats.
"I should have visited the land of freedom sooner, this place is quite lively."

"Hahaha, that's Mondstat for you."

"I forgot how nice of a smile you had, M/n..."Wriothesley reaches over and placed his hand over M/n's. This causes the cryo user to jump and pull his hand away, he coughs into his hand for a moment.
"Wriothesley–"

"Windblume, here you are–Oh who is this gentlemen?"Venti smiles brightly at the stranger after placing an innocent and loving kiss on M/n's cheek. Wriothesley's smile nearly drops at this.
"This is another friend—"

"And old fling—"

"WRIOTHESLEY!"M/n yelled out in astonishment, he honestly had nothing to say to this. Venti didn't seem bothered by this when politely shaking the man's hand.
"Worry not my windblume, I'm not a jealous man. I'll leave you two to catch up! I'm going to go sing."Venti gives M/n another kiss and heads over the banister for a dramatic entrance.
"Was that necessary, Wriothesley?"

"....You have a boyfriend...Then what am I here for?"

"What do you mean? I invited you out here as a friend nothing else..."M/n crosses his arms over his chest with a frown. Not once had M/n hinted at that type of relationship.
"I wanted to rekindle our friendship."

"You could have told me you were in a relationship!"

"I didn't think it would be necessary! What lead you to think I would send you a letter in that manner!? I thought we could just be friends..."Wriothesley throws back his wine and sighs heavily, he couldn't believe that he allowed himself to get his hopes up.
"I...I came here with the thought...I'm so stupid."The gothic man quickly stands and leaves down the stairs and out of the Bar.

"Why the fuck did that happen..."M/n stood dumbfounded, what he assumed would be a reconnect turned into something completely different. He quickly rushed out after the man leaving many people a bit confused.
