[It doesn't take longer than a second for Nicole to recognize the two felines exiting the car as her parents and her will to escape starts becoming stronger. But she knows she has no choice, how badly she does not want them to see her like this. Her ears lower to the very back of her head while still holding her husband's paw, feeling too nervous to let go yet. Not being sure of what she had expected their reaction to be, she still feels surprised when the two Senicourts approach her with both relief and grief expressed on their faces. Mary is the first to run up to her daughter and immediately wrap her arms around her smaller figure. Richard respectfully takes a sidestep and watches along with the Fitzgeralds how the cats reunite. When Mary lets go of the hug to look her daughter in the eye, the waterworks had started flowing down her cheeks again and her mother struggles with keeping herself together as well.]

Mary: W-what has happened... to my daughter...?

Nicole: [Whimpering] I messed up... s-so badly, I know. I- I'm-

Mary: No! I'm talking about what the world has done to you... I'm enraged at the town for having exaggerated to this level.

[Mary gently caresses Nicole's cheeks while wiping away her tears for her and keeps holding her head. Her eyes briefly move away from hers as she inspects her unhealthily thin system and sees how terribly some parts of her anatomy are morphed, full on displaying the damage that has been done to her body.]

Mary: I had really wished for this sickness to not treat you as badly as it did... I'm so glad at least to be able to see you again!

Nicole: Mom, I-... I'm... glad to see you too. Though I... want to talk to you... now you're here...

Mary: But of course. We came as soon as we could to help, but I'm sorry to have missed the most...

Nicole: Let's go somewhere on our own... for a moment. Just the two of you with me.

[Nicole turns her head to face her husband for a brief second and he nods to sign her it's alright. Richard offers the fairies to wait in the car until she returns but stays standing outside himself just in case she needed his help. Nicole then glances at the mossy ground with a frown before raising her head and wandering towards a second glade through a thin wall of pines. Her parents follow her at a slower pace due to them not having expected their daughter suddenly being more used to the rough nature, but still try their best to catch up. Once the three have reached a high rock which seemed to be lined up underneath the moon, they sit down with a tiny bit of distance between each other. Nicole could gladly embrace the reconciling comfort her mother had given her a few moments ago, but now feels her distress welling up again. Besides, she's not so sure if her current seemingly stable mind is going to last long...]

Nicole: Mom...? Dad? [Sighs] Before I go further on anything, you do know all of this has come to what it is because of pure unfortunate, right?

Daniel: We know. What do you want to indicate with that?

Nicole: It's just that... you've told me before you didn't want to be the blame of my condition... And you still aren't... Well, partly then.

[Both Daniel and Mary stare each other in the eye after widening their eyes from what she said. Mary then turns her head again and raises a brow before stopping herself from denial once she eventually realizes.]

Mary: Oh... you... know?

Nicole: About the medicine I got as a kid? Yes, I do. I actually now know a bit more than that... You probably thought that part of my life stayed foggy in my memory? Well it has, so you're not wrong on that...
