The car ride home was filled with a comfortable silence. Issac was passed out on the back seat, Delilah was driving and Derek was intently staring at his girl.

She could see Derek looking at her out of the corner of her eye and she felt she couldn't hold it in any longer. She let out a full hearted laugh that roused Issac from his slumber.

Turning to look at Derek, she smiled as she tried to catch her breath and wipe the amused tears from her eyes. "I'm the alpha," she giggled in a mocking voice.

Derek rolled his eyes as he took in his girl's mirth and grabbed her hand while they continued on their drive home. "Well it worked didn't it?"

Delilah looked in he rear view and saw Isaac was now awake but had his head hung low.

"You did really good Issac."

His head snapped up as he heard her praise.

"Didn't he Derek? It's his first full moon and he submitted with out any fight. And he didn't hurt anyone, well unless you count the hunter."

"Yes, Issac, you've done well for your first full moon."

Issac smiled slightly and sat up a little straighter. He puffed his chest out and squared his shoulders at his alpha's approval. Delilah thought this was a good look on the young man and hopped to see it more in the future.

Delilah turned off the main road and pulled the car down the gravel drive way that lead to Willow residence. Parking the car in front of the house, she turned to address Issac again.

"Issac you can head up to bed. I know you must be tired. Derek and I will be in, in a bit."

Issac nodded as he rubbed his drowsy eyes. This night had taken a lot out him, both physically and emotionally. He wanted nothing more than to crawl into the bed he slept in so comfortably the previous night.

Delilah tossed him the house keys as he started walked to the front porch and he easily caught them in his hands. Once he was safely inside, she turned to Derek who had now exited the car to stand before her on the driver's side.

He pulled her to him and captured her mouth in a searing kiss as she felt his clawed hands lightly graze her side. She was slightly surprised by their presence but unconcerned as they slowly caressed her over her clothes.

"I have so many things I want to say to you." He said as he leaned his forehead against hers.

"Maybe you should just say them?" She replied, playing with the edge of his shirt. She was nervous in Derek's presence. It wasn't a bad nervous, but more anxious with anticipation. She hoped he was going to address what he had let slip earlier in the day.

Derek looked to the house and saw the bedroom, that had now become Isaac's, light turn on.

"Not here." He said as he grabbed Delilah by the back of her thighs. He hoisted them to wrap around his waist and took off into the trees behind the house.

He checked the surrounding woods earlier to confirm the hunters hadn't been close to the house. He didn't want any unsuspecting surprises in the form of traps for Delilah and now Issac to accidentally stumble upon.

Derek stopped running when he could no longer hear anything around him, other than Delilah's exhilarated breathing.

The woods were still as he rested her safely against a down tree trunk. As he stepped away Delilah shuffled to find a better seat and watched as Derek begun to pace in front of her. He took long strides from one end of the tree, reaching the ripped out roots, to the other where the branches laid tangled on the ground.
