First and foremost I want to sincerely apologize if this isn't accurate or is wrong, I personally do not have autism so I did some research. If you have any critique please let me know I'm always trying to better my writing skills and expanding them is definitely the best way to do so!!!
Apologies for any typos or mistakes, I recently started new medication and while I get adjusted to it it makes me feel a little out of it so when I went back and edited this chapter it may not have been thorough enough😂😭

He walked quietly, head down with his hands in his pockets. His blue orbs drifted to the edges of his vision every now and then, to look you.
You walked ahead of him, paying no attention. Your fingers twitched and twirled in erratic patterns, an involuntary movement that you did often, you would do it without even realizing. Earbuds placed in your ears, soft tunes emitting from them, only songs that scratched your auditory cortex just right played from them. You very rarely liked listening to music you didn't already know. Sometimes it was interesting but most of the time it was point blank overwhelming.

He liked to think deep down you knew he followed you around to protect you. He would feel weird otherwise, if you really had completely no clue.
He didn't like to think of it as 'stalking'. He just wanted to make sure you were safe! He knew it was odd, following his best friend around everyday to make sure you were safe, but it had been this way ever since kindergarten. You were always thick as thieves, partners in crime and you did everything together.

Having to leave you for those some odd months he spent traveling the world trying to defeat his mortal enemy, nearly killed him more than the battles themselves. He didn't get to say goodbye. All you knew was one day he stopped showing up to high school and you got a letter in the mail explaining everything and why he left. He wrote you letters every single day, to let you know he was alright, though they would sometimes take a while to get from his location to yours as he was constantly moving around.

You appreciated every letter you received and even though you would read them with a pit in your stomach and a heavy heart, you truly cherished them. You kept every single letter in a box under your bed.

Every single one of them, signed at the end,
'Miss you and see you soon, -Jotaro Kujo'.

He showed back up just like he had left. No words.
It was ten at night in the pouring rain when he knocked on your door to say he had returned back in one full piece.

You stood there looking at him with tears in your eyes yet a big smile on your face.

"It's late, Jotaro. Go home. I'll see you tomorrow."

Then you closed the door in his face.

At first he was a little sad, he had to admit, but he understood you were just overwhelmed and didn't know how to deal with the situation. And of course you weren't fully quick to forgive him, either. He had hurt you.

He glanced over at you again, on the other side of the sidewalk. Your shoulders were tense. You looked uncomfortable, and Jotaro's brows furrowed. He wondered why?

His footsteps slowed, looking for the reason of your uncomfortability.

At first everything looked normal. He felt his worry slip away although he was still confused on your awkward posture. That's when he noticed something move in the shadows of the sidewalk. A deeper shadow within the shadows. A distinct outline of a male. He could see the owner of the shadow, almost as if it were a ghost, lingering behind you.

Ghosts didn't exist though. The hairs on the back of his neck stood. Why would someone be following you, especially someone with a stand who's powers made them invisible, undetectable?
