A/N:
Yes...another Jotaro one, lmfao. There's something about him, if I'm ever in a writers block good ol' Joot can always get me out of it.

--

"You shouldn't have done that, Jotaro." You wrapped the bandage around his purple palms, three times, tying tightly.

He scoffed, crinkling his nose. "Good grief, did I ask you? Because I don't remember asking," His brows knitted. "I can do what I want. I don't need your permission."

"I know that, big boy," Sarcasm dripped from your tongue. "But still. You shouldn't go around beating people up; this is what? The third time this week?."

His icy eyes wandered around the infirmary office, avoiding confrontation. You bit your lip and grabbed the frozen pack that sat next to him on the table. "This'll sting a bit." You warned, and gently pressed the cold object to the dark, throbbing spot on his cheek. You were correct, it stung; and he winced.

"You're always giving me a hard time," He spoke. "What does it matter to you?."

"Because I care about you, Jo," You gave a concerned smile, and caressed his other cheek with your free hand. You could've swore a pattern of scarlet graced across his pale skin. "I'm sorry that I do it, but I do it because I care. If you keep getting into fights you're going to get suspended, or worse, expelled! I'm actually surprised that hasn't happened yet."

"They should learn to keep their mouth's shut if they don't want a knuckle sandwich. They can talk the talk but when it comes down to it they fight like little bitches."

Your eyes dropped, and you sighed, straightening your back. "Who cares what they say? How're you gonna get anywhere in life if you get stuck on what people say, Jotaro? People are gonna talk, they're always gonna talk. Sometimes you just need to let it go."

"I can't let it go if it's about you."

This caught you off guard. You cocked your head, confused. "What do you mean?."

He clenched his jaw, speaking through gritted teeth. "They were talking about you. I can't let that go. They can talk about me, they can talk about the goody two-shoes stuck up girls, the big guys who play football, hell even the puny little nerds and their bandcamps; but anything about you?," He chuckled a little, and looked toward the ground. "They're done."

"What were they saying?."

"Nah, it doesn't-."

"Tell me what they were saying, Jotaro."

"Remember that guy you were with? Well apparently, he's been talking shit."

"Why would he-."

"I don't know. He's mad you dumped his ass; serves him right. He's a no good cheater. He's saying that you used him, to take you out and stuff, buy you stuff, he's saying that's why you broke up. He didn't want to be mooched off of anymore."

"Oh please! I can't believe that jackass."

"Yep," He popped the P. "Now words getting round'. All his friends are talking about it, and if you hadn't have stopped me- he would've been next."

A smile couldn't help but crack across your face. "You know, Jo, I can take care of myself. You underestimate me, I can kick some ass too."

"I know," He rubbed his left temple. "But you shouldnt have to. I'm gonna take care of this shit, doesn't matter how many peoples' faces I have to bash in."

"No," You tussled his hair. "You're gonna leave it alone, or else, you're gonna be in trouble with me~."

"What does that-."

"Shush! Now put your hat on and lets skip Biology and get some burgers. That sound good?."

"Sounds good."

You leaned down and planted a kiss on his bruised cheek.

You turned on your heels and made your way over the door, pushing it open with your weight. When you turned around, Jotaro was still sitting on the nurses' table. Starstruck.

"What'cha waiting for?~." You winked.
