April looked at Donnie, who was infront of her, causally drinking a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Donnie's purple bandana had been switched with a purple knitted scarf when he retired early.

"So...." April started twirling her orange juice "How did you two end up together again?" She gestured at you, humming in the kitchen, busy making snacks for your guest.

Donnie took a sip of his coffee. "Actually, Casey dared me and (Y/n) to play Gay Chicken, which is where two straight guys pretend to be gay and the first one to 'chicken out' loses." He said "And we are both really stubborn and neither of us wanted to lose."

April blinked, confused what it meant "Ah... I-Is that so?"

"Yeah." Donnie placed down his cup "We've been married for three years now, and run a machine repaired shop in Brooklyn together, with our two month old golden retriever." April's eyes fell on the custom made gold ring on Donnie's finger. "If he doesn't chicken out soon, I'm going to suspect he is actually gay." Donnie whispered.

"...Ah...." April deadpanned as she watched the turtle drink his coffee from his 'My husband is the best♡' coffee mug as if it was totally normal. "I think... he might be..." She commented and took a swing at her juice.
