Gabriela's POV:

It's currently 9:25pm, and I'm staring at the clock as there's only five minutes left until my shift is over. I'm the only one working right now so I'll be closing up. I'm so tired today for some reason, I didn't do much today but I feel like I haven't slept in ages. I'm genuinely so glad tomorrow is my day off so I can sleep for as long as I want, after 5 exhausting hours my shift is finally over. So I start closing up the cafe and get my stuff before I leave. I get into my car and start driving home, after a short 10 minutes I'm finally home. As soon as I get inside I hurry upstairs to my room and I just fall on my bed without changing into comfortable clothes and removing my shoes. It doesn't take me longer than 5 minutes to fall asleep and it's genuinely the best thing ever.

I wake up to my best friend telling me to wake up, I'm still very tired and just want to go to sleep so I try ignoring her but she's too persistent so I end up responding to her . "What do you want?" I ask in a raspy voice while groaning "Wake up, it's 7pm and I wanna hang out with you" my best friend Bekah says "Whyyy, I'm still tired and I don't feel like going out or doing anything" "So you're not even going to make an exception for me?" a familiar voice asks. And as soon as I hear that voice I wake up and hug her. "Omg why didn't you tell me you were coming?!?"

"I wanted it to be a surprise, tour ended early so I thought I'd come and spend time with you guys" "aww, we missed you" "I missed you guys too" she says while hugging the two of us. We catch up for a while and I quickly get ready. I take a shower and then decide to wear a yellow sundress.

"So where are we going?" I ask as I'm putting on my earrings and necklace. "I was thinking the one we went to the last time I was here ? We haven't there in ages so it'd be fun to go there" "Okay sure, I'm ready so we can head out now" We start walking to the garage and the girls decide I'll be driving which I'm fine with so I put on my seatbelt and start driving to the bar. In the car ride we were all screaming Tate's songs at the top of our lungs it was actually insane. She and I met when me and my family moved to Calgary after my father left us.

We instantly clicked and have always been very close with each other. I try to support her as much as I can with her music because it's her dream and I'm honestly so proud of her for achieving it.

When we arrive at the bar, the girls are already so excited. These girls are the most energetic people I know, so hanging out with them is always a blast. We go in and wait for a bit before we order what we want to drink and eat and it doesn't take that long before our food and drinks arrive. "Let's make a toast to Chaotic finally being released and us being together again" "Amen" they both say before our glasses clink together.

My drink is done so I tell the girls I am going to get a refill, I don't think they even hear me since they are too busy getting drunk.

"Hi, can I get a coke please?" "Sure, one sec" it doesn't take the bartender long before he gives me my drink, so I pay him and go back to where my friends are. But luckily for me someone bumps into me and the drink spills all over my dress. I don't even take a second to look at the other person's face because I rush to the washroom frustrated and try to clean up my dress. My dress is still wet but not as bad as before so I just decide to let it go and go get another drink.

When I'm walking back to get another drink a tall curly haired boy who looks around my age stops me and starts apologizing for bumping into to me. "Can I offer you a drink? It's the least that I could do and it's on me" he says with a sincere apologetic look on his face. "Sure why not" I say as I sit next to him. "What would you like to drink? Cocktail? Beer?- "I don't drink" I say as I interrupt him. "Why?"
"Personal reasons and I'm driving" I respond before quickly looking away. "Oh sorry, I thought you drank" he says with an embarrassed look on his face.
"No it's okay" Truth is, I hate alcohol and everything to do with it. I've seen that alcohol can bring out the worst out of someone, and no one has to experience that at a young age.
