Just letting ya know,

You're a Vulcan, half-human like Spock. (But more emotional)

You are an Ensign.

Mister Spock is your "mentor."

Also, I am using information from sources bc I'm too lazy to watch the show all over again to write this.

Slow burn, short ending, I know... I don't like it either, I wish I had more motivation for this chapter lmao

Y/n's pov

"Remember that humans tend to think emotionally, while we think logically, some humans don't fully understand Vulcan logic."

"Which ones do?" I asked, putting my hands behind my back.

"Captain Kirk, and Doctor McCoy."

"Do not take offense to what Doctor McCoy says."

"It is not logical to take offense." I said.

"I know that you did not finish Kolinahr, so do keep your temper under control." He told me.

"Doctor McCoy might call you a "green-blooded Vulcan" and he will tell you to think emotionally."

"It is not logical to say such things." I said, but I wanted to laugh.

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day.

"Humans rely heavily upon their emotions, and don't know what they are sometimes saying."

I went quiet, thinking about something.

"So... disregard the illogical things humans say and their emotions?"

"Not theirs Ensign, yours, disregard your emotions."

I cocked my head.

"Hm."

"How could I disregard something I do not have?"

"You must remember that you have not purged all of your emotions, so you still have some left." Spock said, picking up his lyre, and he started to play, strumming the strings.

"Mr. Spock?" I asked softly.

Wow, he plays beautifully.

"Yes, Ensign?"

"I have not yet purged any of my emotions, none, you are right when you say that I have not finished Kolinahr, but it will be correct when you say that I have not started Kolinahr at all."

He raised his eyebrow.

"But you act as if you do not have any."

I nodded, "But I still have my emotions, I just hide them."

"When I'm alone, I act as if I'm a human child, I run and play, I even play games."

"Is it logical to purge your emotions, Mr. Spock?"

"I am not sure, but you seem to be doing well so far."

*On the bridge*

"Hello Captain, you needed me?" I asked.

"Yes I do, I need you to take over the helm, Ensign."

I nodded and I sat down.

I looked to my right and I saw someone sitting there.

And I felt my breath get taken away.

I looked forward and un-tucked my hair from behind my pointed ear as I looked forward.
