Letting out a deep breathe, she smiled at jungkook, "i'll be fine koo. I'll call you if something goes wrong okay?" She spoke.

"Yeah. Be careful. I'm gonna stay here." He replied making her to nod.

Getting out of the car, she walked to the door and knocked it.

Jungkook's gaze was fixed at the door as he kept looking in the same direction.

The door opened soon enough as y/n walked inside with a lady that jungkook had never seen.

Y/n was surprised to know that Mrs. Lee had now hired a maid. She walked inside the house, finding her mother on one of the large sofa kept in the living room.

"Mother." Y/n called the woman who furrowed her eyebrows once she saw her.

"What are you doing in my house?" She spoke walking closer to y/n making her to nervously back away.

"I just came to meet you for some minutes. I'll leave right away, mother." Y/n explained.

"What do you want?" questioned Mrs. Lee rudely making y/n frown but she smiled afterwards because she didn't expected her to behave nicely with y/n.

"Have you been doing good, mother?" y/n asking making Mrs. Lee to look at her annoyingly.

"is this what you came here for? I have told you I don't want to see you in my house again, haven't I?! Then what did you even think coming here like this??" said Mrs. Lee harshly as she glared at the girl who once considered her mother.

"I'm here just to thank you for everything. You have done so much for me and my sister, and I'll forever be grateful of you for that." y/n spoke making Mrs. Lee to get confused.

"What are you even speaking? Leave now." She furrowed her eyebrows.

"I'll leave... I just want to thank you, because there was a time when I sincerely thought of you as my mother, you still are a mother to me even after knowing that my parents left me and my sister to you for taking care of us..." She explained making Mrs. Lee to look away.

"I don't know what you are talking about." She replied making y/n smile.

"I'm sure you do, mother. Thank you for everythi-" Y/n was cut off as jungkook walked inside the house taking big steps.

Worry plastered on his face as he looked at y/n, "Why is it taking so long?" he questioned.

"I'm fine, jungkook. I was just talking with her. Please give me a minute and I'll be done." y/n spoke before turning to look at Mrs. Lee again.

"Thank you for everything. I may not be where I am today if it weren't for you, mother. I hope you can not hold any grudge against me and my sister, now that we're out of your life." Y/n smiled.

"This is the last time ever I'm meeting you, I won't bother you ever again after this."

"Do you even know what you are saying?" Spoke Mrs. Lee as she felt some sort of pain in her chest hearing the words y/n spoke.

She didn't want her daughters to leave her.

"She knows very well what she is saying, Mrs. Lee. And this." Jungkook placed a check on the table kept infront of them, "Just in case you feel like the money she has been giving even behind my back wasn't enough." Jungkook spoke as he looked at y/n for a brief second before looking back at Mrs Lee.

Feeling guilt taking place inside her, y/n looked down as she didn't want jungkook to know that she has been sending her savings to Mrs. Lee.

"I would like it better if you stop bothering my wife now." Jungkook spoke, looking at Mrs. Lee with a dead serious gaze.
