No one answered. I knocked again, hoping for a reply. A few seconds later, a good friend answers the door, groggily. His hair was frizzy and he was only wearing boxers. It was George Harrison.

"Y/N... What are ye doing here?" He asked, letting me in.

"I don't mean to be a burden, but is it alright if I stay here tonight?" I asked, feeling guilty of this.

"Of course! If ye don't mind me asking, though. Why?" I could tell George was being sensitive with me, which I appreciated but it wasn't necessary. He led me to the couch where we sat and chatted.

"John and I got into an argument, sort of."

"Ah, I'm sorry. What happened?" I told him everything that happened. George was in deep thought about this. I could tell by the way he was looking at me. "Honestly, he has a point. If this were my problem, I wouldn't want another man touching ye. He's just bein' protective. He wants ye to be safe and also to be loyal to him."

"Does he seriously think I'd cheat on him? I'd never!"

"And everyone knows that. But you have some points too, y'know. He should remember that you're independent, strong and ye can take care of yourself. I think he needs that reminder. So, do you known what I want ye to do when ye get home?" George asked me, raising his eyebrow.

     "What?" I asked, confused.

"I want you to tell John that you are an amazin' woman and that you'd never let Daniel do anything with ye. If he can't see that in you, I will. I always have, anyway. Got that?" He gave me a warm smile. His words made me blush, and same with his smile. Everything seemed better. I guess I just needed to hear that. If it weren't now 12:45 A.M and me being on the verge of sleeping, I'd be on my way home now to talk to my boyfriend.

"Got it. Thank you, Georgie." I smile at him.

"Great!" He tapped my leg as he stood up from the couch. "Would ye like some tea or anything?" George asked.

     "I'm good, thanks."

"Okay. Follow me." He said, walking somewhere. I followed his lead and we were now in his bedroom. I watched as he went through his clothing drawers and pulled out a shirt and boxers. He placed them on the bed and went on explaining, "Ye can wear these to sleep. I'll be on the couch if ye need anythin during the night. Good night, Y/N." He continued to smile at me. As he was about to leave, I stopped him. I felt extremely guilty that he was doing all this for me.

"Wait! I'll take the couch, you can have your room."

"I insist, Y/N. I want ye to be comfortable."

"George, I feel bad. Please take your room."

"Have a good sleep, Y/N." He quickly walked away before I could say anything else to protest. I sighed and chuckled to myself as I changed into George's clothes and slept immediately in his extremely soft, warm and comfortable bed.

I had a wonderful sleep that night, feeling well rested when I woke up. I walked into the kitchen, hearing George getting some tea ready. He was wearing a robe with a t-shirt and his boxers underneath.

"Mornin' Sleepy-Head." He beamed at me.

"Good morning!" I smiled back, walking up to him to accept the tea he was offering.

      "Sleep well?" He asked.

     "Yeah, you?"

George just nodded in response as he went to sip his tea.

"Ah, f***. My tongue!" George ached, putting the tea down quickly. I burst into laughter as I watched him get some ice and put it in his mouth. He grinned as he watched me laugh. "Not funny." He tried to say, but the ice was in his mouth. Him trying to speak made this ten times funnier as I was practically in pain from laughing. After about two minutes, George shouted, "Y/N! I burned my tongue! That's funny?" I take a deep breath, relaxing myself and replied,

     "Yes, it is!"

     "Very mature of ye."

I chuckled in response and sipped my tea, ever so carefully to get on George's nerves. I got the reaction I wanted from him as he rolled his eyes and grinned at me. Something I wasn't expecting though, as I was drinking my tea, he pushed the bottom of my glass further, making me choke as some spilled down on my shirt. It was his turn to now laugh at me as I tried to wipe it, annoyed. "Sweet, sweet revenge!" George told me as he calmed down.

We continued to chat calmly about the most random things such as the news, the future, Chuck Berry and The Rolling Stones. I unfortunately then had to end it,

"I'd love to continue chatting with you but I think I should get dressed and go home. Thank you so much, again!" I smile as I walk to his room to change.

"Anytime, Love." I heard George say to me from behind.

I got into the clothes I had worn yesterday and headed toward the door ws George followed me, seeing me out.

"It was nice havin' ye here. The door's always open for you." George told me, smiling.

"I can't thank you enough, Geo." I embrace him in a small hug and the opened the door to leave. I was about to walk out when I bump into something. I looked up from the ground and saw that it was John. I looked into his light brown orbs, butterflies rushing to the pit of my stomach as my breath quickened.

"John..." I whisper, not breaking the eye contact. John didn't say anything. He cupped my face with his right hand and placed his left on my hip and planted a kiss on my lips.

"I'm really sorry, Y/N. I know that ye'd never cheat on me and I know ye'd never let another man touch or use ye. I know that ye can look after yerself and I'm just sorry. I love you." John said, once we broke apart. I took a second to let his words sink in and I smiled at him.

"I love you too." Was all I said before kissing him again.

"Aye! Get a room, love birds. Disgustin'!" George complained in a joking manner. John and I broke apart and chuckled, looking into each other eyes.

"See ya, George!" John and I called out to him as we were leaving his house, hand-in-hand.
