NYU with a Dance Crew

A/N I know that Moose and Camille are best friends, I still want to keep that but I don't want to make her a problem, like in other stories where she's jealous and wants to be with Moose. I think that Camille would be a great friend so that's what I'm gonna do.

I walk with the freshmen for freshmen orientation along with Camille, who's one of Moose's childhood friends, Moose, and his parents. I met Camille when I first stepped on the campus she looked familiar until I realized I have seen her before in some of the pictures at Moose's house. I remember asking about her and Moose telling me that they were childhood best friends but haven't seen her in a while.

When we saw her on campus Moose instantly noticed her. He yelled at her and gave her a hug and introduced me to her. Camille is pretty cool, she dances, she's funny, and an all-around cool person.

After walking with the freshmen group for a while, Moose turns around to his parents.

"Mom? Dad? You guys can really go," Moose insists.

I snicker slightly at Moose's embarrassment.

"No," Moose's mom says "We're gonna take you, Tess, and Camille out for dinner. We promised Tara that we would feed Tess and this would be a good time to catch up with everyone," she finishes with a smile.

"We're already paying for our meal plans," Moose says.

"It's all good," Camille adds.

"Yeah we're fine, we really are Mrs. A," I say to Moose's Mom.

"We should go," Moose's dad speaks.

"Fine," Mrs. A agrees "But one last picture," M

"Okay, one last picture," Moose agrees reluctantly.

"Okay, three more pictures," Mrs. A says.

"Wha-" Moose starts to complain.

"Just do it," I say to him.

Moose rolls his eyes and gets into the frame.

"You girls too, get in the picture." Mrs. A says.

Camille and I get on both sides of Moose and smile.

"Say 'Mom is pretty,'" Mrs. A says.

"Mom is pretty," all three of us say in unison. I hear the camera click.

"Thank you," Mrs. A says. "Now one with Moose and Camille. She takes the picture and I hear the camera click.

"Now one with Moose and Tess."

I walk over to Moose and stand beside him.

"Get together, you're best friends, a truck could drive through you," Mrs. A criticizes.

We move closer together.

"Alright we're close," Moose says.

"Get closer! Put your arm around her," Mrs. A commands her son.

Moose and I get closer together and his arm is wrapped around my shoulder. Moose smiles at me and I smile back.

"Ok, good," now look up here and smile.

We smile into the camera for the last picture.

"If my father could see me now saying goodbye to my son, a future engineer. I'm just so happy that you're done with that dance business," Moose's dad says.

I saw Moose's face falter a little when his dad said the last part. I know he misses dancing but he only gave up on it for his parents.

"I can't tell you," his dad finishes.
