"You can't catch me, you can't catch me," a  taunting voice says followed by a giggle.

"Oh, my god. You're as fast as the flash kid," I hear my husband of 7 years tell the voice.

"Mama, Mama did you hear that? Dad says I'm as fast as the flash," my  4-year-old son Aaron says bragging.

"Fast as the flash? You're slower than a snail," My 3-year-old daughter Tiana says.

I let out a snort and then looked after my daughter.

"That's not nice sweetheart, are you gonna be nice when Uncle Jason and Aunt Andie come later?"

She thinks about it for a second. "Mm, probably not," she says with a smile.

Moose laughs.

"Wow you act just like your mother," he says picking up our son.

Me and Moose got married 7 months after he proposed. He was very eager. We were by ourselves for the first two years of our marriage since we were gonna look for houses. After those two years let's just say that we got busy and I ended up having 2 kids. Let me just say pregnancy and giving birth hurts like a bitch. It's not for the faint of heart.

Anyway since Christmas is getting closer Me and Moose are having a reunion for our old dance group. I haven't seen them in some months mostly because raising children takes time and a whole lot of effort.

"Moose can you please get Aaron dressed,"

"Sure thing princess," Moose gives me a kiss on the cheek.

Moose and Aaron walk upstairs and I'm left with my daughter Tiana.

The crazy thing is with these kids Tiana looks like a spitting image of Moose but acts so much like me. Aaron looks too much like me and acts exactly like his father.

Weird.

I walk to the kitchen and finish the last couple of things with the food.

"Mama, when will Uncle Jason get here?"

I look at my watch and it says 6:20 and the guests should be arriving around 6:30.

"In about 10 minutes baby,"

"Okay, will Uncle Jason bring gifts like Santa Claus?"

"Yes, Tia,"

"Okay, as long as he has gifts I love him," Tiana says then skips off into the living room.

I gave my daughter a confused look and smiled to myself.

Every time Jason sees my kids he douses them in presents. I love how he spoils the kids but I don't want my kids to get too spoiled y'know.

I place all the food on the table and I hear footsteps coming down the stairs. I see my adorable son in a nice green shirt and khakis. Then I see my handsome husband in a dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

He looks so good.

"You got a little drool babe," Moose teases.

"How could I not? Look at my boys." I say smiling.

"Oh my god it's 6:29 I need to change into my dress." I race upstairs. "If someone rings answer it."

I rush into Me and Moose's shared bedroom and walk into our walk-in closet.

I love our walk-in closet

I put on a red flowy dress and make my way downstairs.

"It's good to see and man and my little dancers," says a familiar voice.
