' Murder?' Namjoon shot up from the couch. ' Why would anyone try to do that and that too with Jin and Tae?'

' We would have to find that out.. I wanted to collect their statements' Soobin said looking at Jin and Tae

' Joonie... The attack...it was not aimed at me and Tae. It was meant for me and Jungkook' Jin sighed

' What do you mean by that?' Hyuk intervened

' The call' Tae mumbled loud enough for everyone to hear ..his eyes wide in realization.

' What call?' Soobin asked

' If only I had gone'

All heads snapped towards the door on hearing Jungkook's voice filled with regret

' How long have you been standing there?' Jisoo asked horrified

' Since when Soobs asked about the call why?' Jungkook walked in as he handed over the water to Jin 'Any important information Soobs?' Jungkook raised his brow

' No hyung.. am here to take their statements' Soobin said trying to fake a smile

Jungkook nodded as he turned around ' I met the doctor on the way here.... He told me to fill some forms.. I'll go do that and come'

Jungkook walked out as they nodded

' What call?' Soobin asked again

'  We received a call from Yoongi hyung's office asking Jin hyung and Kook to come over to sign some legal documents. Kook didn't want to go so Tae went instead' Namjoon explained

Now all eyes were on Yoongi who held onto Jimin's hand tightly. Jimin felt Yoongi's hands shiver as he drew small circles over them

' Ji-jin hyung... Joon I swear.. I didn't call you. If I had any important documents for you I would have bought it over there instead of calling you guys this late.' Yoongi explained eyes wandering between Jin and Namjoon

' The call and the so called accident is definitely connected.' Soobin started ' And according to Mr Kim here..the call was made from your office Mr Min. '

' It was not him who called' Jin tried to sit up but hissed in pain

' But there is no proof that he is not the one who made anyone call you ' Soobin said back

' No' Yoongi raised his voice as he looked at everyone in that room ' I didn't do anything. Hy-hyung..hyung trust me I would never try to do anything like that to you or Kook' Yoongi held on to Namjoon desperately as helpless tears left his eyes. Jin clutched on to his chest where the wound was as he tried to voice out again but the pain never allowed him ' Joonie... You know how much I love Jin hyung...he is my dad... my mom..my hyung my everything a-and Kook..he is my son Joon...i see him as my own kid.. I- I raised him up Joon..how will I even think of killing him.. I beg you please... Please trust me.. I didn't make anyone call y-you' Yoongi choked on his sobs ' I didn't t-try to k-kill my hyung nor m-my kid...I-'

' Hyung!'

Yoongi's voice dropped as Jungkook's angry voice boomed through the hall.

' What's happening here?' Jungkook asked as he walked in directly going to Yoongi who was still holding on to Namjoon's hand clasped in between his own over his chest..

' Hyung' Jungkook called out softly as he turned Yoongi towards himself. Jungkook's heart shattered as he saw the red puffy eyes looking at him with desperation and helplessness...those eyes which had been his home..his source of peace when everything around him was falling off. Jungkook didn't know what emotion was pooling inside of him but the next second he just let them loose

' Can't you hear me? What's happening?' Jungkook wrapped one arm over Yoongi who was still shaking in his hold

' The accident happened just after a call came informing you and Mr Kim to be present at Min Industries.' Soobin said ' And according to them the call came from his office'

' So?' Jungkook tightened his hold around Yoongi ' What do you want to imply?'

' Hyung... This doesn't seem like a normal accident. And taking the statements and the CCTV footage of the accident spot into account..Mr Min is one of the susp-'

' Don't' Jungkook cut him off as he stood in front of Yoongi shielding him from Soobin's view ' Don't you dare complete that sentence Soobin. He is my family.. and I won't tolerate anyone accusing my Dad.Is that clear?' Jungkook raised his voice making Soobin flinch

More tears left Yoongi's eyes hearing what Jungkook told. Jimin rushed forward taking his fiance into his arms. Namjoon and Hobi shared an apologitic look as Jin had his insides turning as the scene unfolded. His Yoongi was being accused and he was just lying there. Jisoo saw the way Tae got startled at Jungkook's loud voice and hugged him.. rubbing his back

' But hyung... I can't think of it like that. I know he is your family.. I know the story' Soobin sighed ' But am doing my Job... I have to take things professionally.. hyung tr-'

' Jeon' Jungkook cut him off

' Hyung?' Soobin looked at him puzzled

' It's Mr Jeon to you. Take things professionally Mr Choi' Jungkook's voice was as octave deep as his eyes held fire.

' H-hyung' Soobin started but was stopped as Jungkook raised his hand indicating him to stop

' What we had in the past and what you are doing now is completely unprofessional...even though It's you who wanted to take this professionally. So Mr Choi do whatever the fuck you want to prove my hyung guilty. Let me also see how good you are in your profession' Jungkook said Crossing his hands over his chest staring deeply at Soobin who frowned before dashing out of the room

All of them looked at Jungkook..this is not the Jungkook they have been living with all these while. And now Tae had confirmed that the coming of Choi Soobin into their life was something that is unraveling the hidden parts of Jungkook

' Hyung' Jungkook cupped Yoongi's cheeks

' I d-didn't Koo.. I..' Yoongi sobbed into his hands. ' Jin hyung I didn't'

' I know my Yooniee...we all know that you could never do something like that' Jin said as the rest of them nodded assuringly. But Yoongi was still not convinced

' It...it hurts...my h-heart hurts' Yoongi was immediately wrapped by Jungkook's firm hands as they ran up and down along his back

' We all know that you are innocent hyung' Jungkook said..his voice laced with power ' Let him do what he can...But I promise to find the real cause of all our problems'
