Alone in an empty room,
In the long dawn moon,
She couldn't fall asleep.

Her bruised heart,
That was tired from all the crying,
Was trapped in the memories.
It was aching
As it used up all the light.

Amidst all this,
She wandered through the night
Hoping that she could fall asleep peacefully
Hoping that her miserable pain
Will come to an end now.

Once the Maliks left, Azeen, who was waiting for her husband to bring the car, looked at Imraan teasingly. She has been giving that look to him since the rings were exchanged.

"What? If you want to say something then just say it instead of giving me that creepy look."
At last, unable to ignore her teasing look, Imraan spoke.

"Running after her, being alone with her in the room with the closed door and not to forget coming down holding hands romantically..."
Azeen raised an eyebrow with a smirk.
"You think I didn't notice it? You are such an advanced sly fox, aren't you?"

"Maa told me to go after her. Her dress was heavy so I just helped her to descend the stairs. There was nothing romantic in it."
Narrowing his eyes, Imraan explained.
"I did talk with her but the door weren't closed. So stop thinking of anything weird in that lil head of yours."

"Excuses and excuses. That's how it all begins, my dear cousin."
Smugly Azeen said before sniffing around.
"Do you smell it?"

"Smell what?"
Following her, Imraan also sniffed around.

"The smell of blooming love."
Azeen replied, cracking up.

"How can you come up with such bad jokes?"
Rolling his eyes, Imraan asked as Azeen continued to laugh.

Spotting Fawad coming towards them with his car, Azeen called.
"Imraan."

Imraan looked at her.

"He won't be here for long."
This time she spoke seriously.
"So till he leaves, let's not make any scene, okay? I'm sure chachi won't want that either."

Slowly Imraan nodded.
"Go! Fawad is here."

"Allah Hafiz."
Nodding Azeen got inside the car before bidding bye.

"Allah Hafiz."
Once they left, Imraan also came inside the Quraish Villa. Just when he was about to go upstairs, he was stopped by none other than his father.

"Seems like you are not pleased to see me."

Imraan took a breath before looking back.
"No. I'm glad that you were able to attend the event."

"Of course, I had to come. After all, it's my only son's engagement."
Mr. Badar said before taking a step towards Imraan.

"You have chosen the right girl, the right family. For the first time, you have made me proud."
Patting Imraan's shoulder, he said proudly.
"Being associated with Maliks will not only be beneficial for our business but also we won't need to worry about the investments anymore."

"I didn't agree to the alliance in the hope of getting any investment from them."
Calmly Imraan spoke, making Mr. Badar snicker.

"I know you, my son. I know you. No need to hide anything from me."
He said with a smirk, making Imraan clench his fist tightly.
"Marrying Malik's daughter, whom a dozen of guys rejected, will touch the public sentiment. Moreover, being a doctor, she has connections which will help us in launching the new project."
