"Kookie, wake up, bun," Taehyung called out softly as he stepped out of the bathroom, freshly showered, with nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. Droplets of water clung to his smooth, tan skin, trailing down his toned legs—legs that could tempt anyone to run their hands along their softness. But, of course, no one could. No one dared. Because the possessive ravenette sleeping soundly on the bed would never allow it.
Jungkook lay curled around a pillow, his face buried into it as if seeking Taehyung’s warmth in his sleep. The younger’s breathing was slow and steady, a picture of serenity, but the moment Taehyung spoke, a small hum of contentment escaped his lips, his sleepy mind already recognizing his husband's voice.
Taehyung smiled at the sight and walked closer, bending slightly to cup Jungkook’s cheek, his fingertips grazing the soft skin in a delicate caress. "It’s time to wake up, bun. You need to go to the office," he murmured, his voice gentle, soothing.
Jungkook nuzzled further into Taehyung’s palm, sighing in satisfaction. His lips twitched into a drowsy smile, clearly unwilling to wake just yet.
Taehyung let out a soft chuckle at his husband’s adorable behavior and playfully pinched his nose. "Get up, you lazy bunny," he teased before standing and walking toward the dressing table, leaving Jungkook pouting behind him.
The younger groggily opened his eyes, stretching his limbs, only to be met with the breathtaking view of Taehyung standing before the mirror, drying his damp curls. His slender fingers ran through his soft locks as he hummed a quiet tune, utterly unaware of the way Jungkook was now staring.
Waking up in the morning was a blessing in itself, but waking up to this—his beautiful husband wrapped in nothing but a towel, golden skin glistening under the morning light—was something close to heaven.
Jungkook swallowed thickly, his throat suddenly dry. His eyes trailed over Taehyung’s elegant frame, the delicate curves of his waist, the long, flawless expanse of his back. He felt his heartbeat quicken, but he quickly shook his head, willing himself to snap out of it. He knew if he let his thoughts wander too far, he’d be in trouble before the day even started.
With a deep breath, he got up and padded toward Taehyung, wrapping his arms around the older’s waist from behind. He buried his face into his husband’s damp curls, pressing a soft kiss to the side of his neck.
"Good morning, sweetheart," Jungkook murmured, his morning voice husky yet undeniably affectionate.
Taehyung smiled at their reflection in the mirror, tilting his head slightly to the side to allow Jungkook more access. "Morning, bubba. Now go and freshen up, hmm?" he said, his voice laced with fondness.
Jungkook hummed in response, placing another lingering kiss against Taehyung’s skin before reluctantly pulling away. Grabbing a towel, he disappeared into the bathroom.
Meanwhile, Taehyung resumed his routine, applying his skincare with delicate strokes and letting his hair fall into soft curls that framed his face beautifully. He examined his reflection with a small, satisfied smile before making his way into their walk-in closet.
He sifted through his wardrobe, looking for something simple yet bold. His fingers eventually landed on a black backless hoodie, its fabric sleek and smooth, with elegant knots lining the exposed back. Pairing it with tight black jeans, he pulled out a set of red lace undergarments before stepping back toward the mirror.
A quick glance toward the bathroom door made him bite his lip shyly. He knew Jungkook was still showering, which meant he had a moment of privacy. Taking a deep breath, he let the towel slip from his waist, the fabric pooling at his feet as he stood bare in front of the mirror.
