After dinner, everyone retired to their rooms, but the boys decided to make the most of their time together. The night was too beautiful to waste indoors, so they gathered outside in the garden beside the fireplace. The warm glow of the fire flickered gently, casting soft shadows around them as they settled on the cozy sofas arranged in a circle. Above them, the night sky stretched endlessly, twinkling with countless stars, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and laughter.
As always, Jungkook wasted no time claiming his spot beside Taehyung, making sure no one else could take his place. Taehyung chuckled at his possessiveness, reaching out to flick Jungkook’s chin playfully. The younger only responded by shifting even closer, wrapping his arms around Taehyung’s side and planting a soft kiss on his cheek. The sight of them being so affectionate made the older boys coo, unable to resist how adorable the couple looked together.
For hours, they talked and laughed, sharing stories and teasing one another. The warmth of the fire, combined with the crisp night air, made it the perfect setting for their conversation. However, as the night stretched on, they decided it was time to head inside—until Jimin suddenly gasped, as if remembering something crucial.
"Wait, guys! We never decided where we're going tomorrow!" he exclaimed, raising an eyebrow at them in surprise.
The boys paused, turning their attention to Jimin, except for Jungkook, who was far too busy nibbling at Taehyung’s neck, oblivious to the conversation.
While the others pondered over their options, Taehyung gently pushed Jungkook away from his neck, making the younger whine as he buried his face back into Taehyung’s shoulder. Smiling at his fiancé’s antics, Taehyung offered a suggestion.
"Hyung, I think we should go to the beach tomorrow," he said, brushing his fingers through Jungkook’s hair.
Jimin nodded, considering the idea. "That’s a great idea, Tae, but which beach? There are so many beautiful ones here," he pointed out.
Taehyung nodded in understanding, and before he could respond, Namjoon spoke up.
"I think we should visit Oahu’s North Shore Beach. It’s great for swimming, and it’s usually less crowded, so we won’t have to worry about too many people around us," he suggested, looking around to gauge their reactions.
The group murmured in agreement, except for one person—who was still very much occupied. Namjoon tried his best to ignore the increasingly loud smooching sounds Jungkook was making as he pressed soft kisses all over Taehyung’s neck.
Jin, however, had had enough. "Yah! You brat! Can’t you sit still for one minute? Your hyungs are right here! At least have some shame!" he scolded playfully, narrowing his eyes at Jungkook.
But, as expected, Jungkook paid him no mind and simply went in for another kiss. Before he could succeed, however, Taehyung placed a firm hand on his chest, stopping him.
"Bun, shouldn’t you listen to what Jin-hyung is saying, hmm?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow, his expression a mix of amusement and authority. "All the hyungs are here, so why are you being so naughty?"
Jungkook pouted but reluctantly sat up straight, mumbling a quiet apology to Jin, who nodded in satisfaction. But despite sitting properly, he still refused to meet Taehyung’s gaze. Instead, he mumbled under his breath in a small, sulky voice, "I-I just wanted to spend time with you… You’re going to your room after this."
The hyungs exchanged soft smiles at his complaint, feeling a little bad for him. They understood that Jungkook just wanted to be close to Taehyung, but the rule about not sharing a room before marriage couldn’t be ignored.
