The sky outside Jungkook's office had begun its gentle descent into twilight, washing the tall glass windows with strokes of gold and lavender. The sun, slow in its farewell, dipped low on the horizon, casting long shadows that danced lazily across polished floors. Beyond the glass, the city pulsed with its usual rhythm—cars gliding down crowded streets, pedestrians weaving through crosswalks, office lights flickering awake like fireflies. But within the quiet confines of Jungkook's office, time felt still. Heavy. Stillness wrapped around him like a too-tight suit.

It had been one of those days—the kind that bled dry every ounce of energy and spirit. Endless meetings that blurred into each other, a string of presentations delivered without pause, reports demanding perfection, and decisions that felt more like burdens than choices. Jeon Jungkook—the name that echoed confidently in boardrooms and business circles—sat slouched in his chair now, shirt rumpled, the top two buttons undone, and his tie hanging defeated around his neck. Strands of dark hair, tousled from the stress of the day, clung to his forehead as his fingers tapped distracted rhythms against his desk.

And then his eyes found it.

A silver frame, barely bigger than his palm, resting quietly in the corner of his desk. A single photograph—sun-drenched and heart-stealing. Taehyung, dressed in a cream knit cardigan, sat cross-legged on the floor with Junwoo in his lap, mid-laughter as their son reached for his earrings with chubby, curious hands. A candid Sunday morning. A captured breath of happiness. It never failed to stop Jungkook in his tracks—never failed to soften something deep within his chest.

Before he realized it, his hand had already moved—reaching for his phone, thumb hovering over the familiar contact photo. Taehyung and Junwoo in matching bunny onesies, cheek to cheek, grinning into the lens. With a breath that felt more like a sigh of yearning, he tapped the screen.

Jungkook leaned back in his chair, his gaze softening as the video call connected. The moment Taehyung's face appeared on screen, the stress that had built up from back-to-back meetings seemed to melt from his shoulders.

Taehyung appeared on screen like a soft dream—his damp hair clinging sweetly to his forehead, cheeks pink from a warm shower. He was wrapped in a loose, oversized sweater, one arm cradling Junwoo against his chest. The little one was content, his cheeks squished against the knit fabric as he chewed lazily on the ear of a plush bunny. His eyes, round and shining, blinked up sleepily at the screen. A scene of warmth, so gentle and still, it pulled all the air from Jungkook's lungs.

Taehyung's face lit up the moment he saw the familiar bunny pout. "Oh no," he cooed with a knowing smirk, gently adjusting Junwoo in his arms. "Look who's calling with that pout again. What happened, bubba?"

Jungkook sank deeper into his chair, lower lip jutting out, voice hushed and heavy. "Baby... I'm tired," he whined softly. "And I miss my family."

Taehyung giggled sweetly. "Aww, my poor baby," he cooed. "Rough day, hmm?"

Jungkook nodded solemnly, bottom lip jutting out. "Meetings all day. No cuddles. No kisses. No milk. And no you." he again whine, complaining like a child making Taehyung snorted lightly, leaning closer to the screen. "You're just a little bunny, aren't you? So needy." taehyung said, crunching his nose at jungkook's adorable act.

Jungkook's pout turned into a grin. "Only for you."

Taehyung rolled his eyes playfully and turned the phone a little to show Junwoo more clearly. "Woo-woo, look! Dada's on the phone!" he said gently to take the little one's attention and at the sound of Taehyung's excited tone and the familiar word, Junwoo blinked and looked up. His soft brown eyes widened in recognition, and his tiny hands let go of the toy as he mumbled out, "Da," the little one mumbled, his voice soft but certain, his chubby arms stretching out to grasp the image of his father.
