The next morning, Taehyung woke up with a radiant smile, his heart fluttering at the thought of his upcoming date with Jungkook.

His soon-to-be husband.

Just the thought made his stomach do tiny flips, a warmth spreading through his chest.

With a content sigh, he stretched his limbs before getting up from bed, his soft silver hair falling over his forehead in a beautiful mess.

He walked toward the bathroom, stepping inside with light movements. His fingers turned the faucet, letting the cool water wash away the last traces of sleep from his face.

As he stared at himself in the mirror, a small blush crept up his cheeks.

This was the first time he was going on a date with Jungkook.

The first time they'd be spending time alone.

He felt excited.

And a little... nervous.

Pushing the thoughts aside, he left the bathroom, throwing on a random baggy shirt and his favorite booty shorts before heading downstairs.

The delicious aroma of freshly made breakfast greeted him as he walked into the dining room. His parents were already seated, enjoying their meal.

Taehyung greeted them cheerfully before settling into his chair. His plate was quickly filled with waffles, strawberries, and honey, his smile never leaving his face as he began eating.

His mother, who had been silently observing him, arched an eyebrow.

She knew her son.

And today?

Today, Taehyung was glowing.

More than usual.

"What happened, sweetheart? You seem very happy today. Well, you always look happy, but today, you have this glow that I can't quite explain." Taehyung, caught off guard, nearly choked on his strawberry.

His father, now intrigued, glanced at him with a smirk.

"Yes, son, I noticed it too. What's so special about today, hmm?"

Taehyung hurriedly gulped down his food, his ears turning redder than the strawberries on his plate.

After taking a deep breath, he gave them a shy smile and murmured softly—

"N-Nothing, Dad... it's just that... Jungkook and I are going on a d-date today."

Silence.

Then—

"OH HO HO!!"

His mother clapped her hands in excitement, her eyes twinkling.

"Well, go, go! It's your day—enjoy it with your soon-to-be husband!" she teased, nudging him with a warm smile.

His father chuckled, shaking his head. "That's great, son. This is a good chance for you both to get to know each other better. So, when are you leaving?"

"Jungkook-ssi said he'll pick me up at 11 AM."

His father checked his watch. "Oh? Then you only have an hour and a half before your date. You better get ready, or you'll be late."

Taehyung's eyes widened. He hadn't even picked out his outfit yet.

Without wasting another second, he quickly finished his food and sprinted upstairs, his heart racing.

Once inside his room, Taehyung leaned against the door, catching his breath. His eyes flickered to the clock. Still enough time.

A small, satisfied smile graced his lips as he made his way to the bathroom, deciding to take a long bubble bath before getting ready.
