We Are Grounders II

"Are you finished packing? We're leaving in 5." Tavia asks

"Yeah I'm finished." I say as I grab my backpack

We walk outside and leave with everyone.

While walking in silence with a few people talking for a good thirty minuets or so, we came to a stop

"What is it?" I whisper

Everyone looks around, confused.

"I don't see anything." Jasper says

All of a sudden a double sided knife was thrown toward one of our people and it landed in his head, instantly killing him.

"GROUNDERS!" Jasper screams

Everyone frantically runs back to camp and closes the gate.

Clarke and Bellamy were looking beyond the wall then Clarke mumbled something to herself.

"Lincoln said the scouts would be the first to come."

"If is just the scouts then let's fight our way out." Tavia urges

"Yeah. That's what Lincoln would do." I agreed

"We're done doing what that grounder tells us. We tried it and now one of our people died. Want to be next?" Bellamy scoffs

"Well that grounder saved our lives multiple times. I agree with Octavia and Aurora." Finn says

"Clarke we can still do this!" I say

"Looking at you princess what should we do? Run away and die one by one, or stay and fight?" Bellamy asks

Clarke thinks for a moment before responding,

"Clarke if we're here when Tristan comes then-"

"Finn, Lincoln said "scouts" that means more than one. He said "get home before the scouts come" they're already here!" She frowns

"Looks like you get your fight."

"Ok this is what we were preparing for. Kill the grounder or be killed." Bellamy yells then proceeded to give out orders

Tavia and I start to walk away too but he stops us

"Woah you're not gunners and you Aurora are too young to fight." Bellamy says

"Yeah but like you said we're grounders now. Besides they won't kill me I'm special to them." I said before walking off with Tavia

"Hey Rora I almost forgot to give you this."

Tavia handed me a sword with the engraving of "strik gona" on it

"Lincoln made it for you." She smiles

We go through the foxholes and stand at our posts and later hear Bellamy through the radio.

"All foxholes listen up, inflict casualties, as many as possible. Hold them off long enough to make them turn back. Stick to the plan."

Tavia and I left camp for a while but later came back.

Whem we were close to the wall, a grounder was about to kill Bellamy then Tavia shoved her sword into his head, killing him

"Admit it. You want one." She smiled

All of a sudden a bunch of arrows came our way and one grazed my arm while another was shot into Tavia

"Tavia you're hit!" I frown

"Miller fall back now. Octavia hold on to me I'll get you behind the wall. Aurora follow us." Bellamy ordered

I nodded and quickly followed behind.

We hid behind a tree while the grounders and reapers were distracted.

"What the hell is that?" Tavia questions

"The grounders and reapers are fighting." I reply

"We should move now while they're distracted." Bellamy says

"I'll never make it. Leave. Both of you. I'll find a way." Tavia sighs

"We're not going anywhere with out you, O." Bellamy says

"Octavia, Aurora!"

We turn to the source of the voice

"Lincoln!" We both smile

All three of us have a group hug.

"You did this?" Bellamy questions

"With Finn."

Lincoln noticed Tavia's wound and my bleeding arm and frowns.

"I can help you but you must come with me now."

"Go." Bellamy said

"No I have to see this way through!" Tavia protested

"Tavia you can't walk and he can't carry you to the dropship. Please." I beg

"She's right. This fight is over."

"O listen. I said my life ended the day you were born. It didn't didn't start until you were born truthfully. I need you to live so go." He begs

Tavia hugs Bellamy, "I love you big brother."

"May we meet again"

"May we meet again"

Lincoln carries Tavia and I follow behind them.

I glanced at the chaos one last time before running off.
