Red Sky at Morning

Aurora

We sat together, listening to a woman tell everyone a story. I smiled, listening to her.

Everyone here was happy and done with fighting.

Bellamy, Clarke, and Tavia we're moping since Luna didn't consent to bearing the Flame.

I tried to warn them...

"She's here. Maybe they changed their mind." Bellamy hopes, noticing Luna entering the room

Clarke and Bellamy quickly walk up to Luna only to be told that the boat would be coming back at nightfall for us.

Luna walked up to Me, Tavia, and Jasper.

"We need to talk."

"That's my cue." Jasper gets up

Luna sits down next to us.

"Thought you'd want this back." She weakly smiles, giving us Lincoln's journal

"Thank you. And our swords?" Tavia asks

"Your weapons will be on the boat." Luna reassures

"So much for the great Luna, the savior for those in need." Tavia sighs

"You don't want saving. You want someone to fight with you." Luna frowns

"Damn right. We're at war. Luna, you can't just ignore that. Lincoln would have wanted you to help us." Tavia points out

"By becoming Commander? I don't think so. Lincoln knew our rules. We take people in who are done fighting. Done killing. All you know is fighting. Even Aurora. Lincoln would never have brought that here." Luna explains

"Though something tells me... Aurora was against this plan. She never once said anything to me about wanting me to become the Commander. Makes me wonder if Clarke is telling me everything." Luna says before leaving us

"Jaspers actually smiling." Bellamy points out

Jasper was talking to the woman who was telling the interesting shark story and he looked somewhat happy.

"Clarke let it go." I demand, noticing her constantly glancing at Luna

"We can't just leave." Clarke furrows her brows

"Not like we have much of a choice."

"Maybe we do." Clarke says

"What're you talking about?" Bellamy questions

"I'm talking about putting this into her head without asking." Clarke explains

"No way, Clarke. This isn't like Emerson. He was trying to kill us." Tavia disagrees

"You think I don't know that?"

"Clarke, we don't have to do this. We can fight. We can go back to Arkadia and arm up." Bellamy sighs

"Fight who? It's an army of our own people. I don't like this anymore than you do. But if Ravens right, then the code on this thing could stop Alie. Give me a better idea." Clarke frowns

"Yeah put it in me." I grumble

"We'll stay here. It's the only way they'll let you talk to her in private." Bellamy ignores me

"Even Alie gives people a choice." I tell Clarke as she stood up

We were taken back to the huge cargo box at night. Clarke failed at forcing the Flame in Luna so I'm assuming once we get out, she'll give me the Flame.

She has no choice to now.

Luna gave us our gear and told us we'd have our weapons once we landed.

All of a sudden, Clarke was forcefully pushed into the cargo bin and the doors were locked on us.

"They took the Flame! Hey what is this!?" Clarke worries

"Lunas people are attacking her. Alie's here." I realize

"How did Alie even find this place?" I ponder

"There was a drone at Niylah's. She must of followed us." Bellamy sighs

"She's goanna put the Flame in Luna but she'd have to chip her first. If Luna's chipped before the AI, Alie's goanna know everything." Clarke gasps

"See this would have been avoided if we put the flame in my head. Now more people are dying." I say, pissed

All of a sudden, someone opened the door. We quickly ran out to see who opened it and it was the girl, Shay that Jasper was talking to. She had been shot with an arrow.

"A machine... P level..." Shay chokes out before dying

"Let's go."

We run to where she told us to and burst through the doors.

We see dead bodies, a terrified girl, Jasper tied up, and Luna holding her lover, Derrick in her arms as he dies.

"I'm so sorry..." Luna sobs while stroking Derricks cheek

"Anyone of them could be chipped and we'd never know." Bellamy sighs

"If they are, they'll make their move before we put the Flame in Luna." Clarke says

Luna walked up to us and gave us wine but me, water.

"The ceremony is about to begin."

"Luna wait. I'm so sorry.  But now you see what we're facing. An enemy that will do anything to win. She won't stop until she has everyone." Clarke explains

Luna holds the Flame, "People I love died today. Needlessly at my hand. I can't let that happen again."

Luna holds the Flame up as everyone stands up.

"As we prepare to give our brothers and sister to the sea, we honor their lives. Kom woda 'so gyon op, gon woda 'so kom daun." Luna says from water we are born, to water we return

Everyone repeats the phrase before we all drink.

"If we're goanna do this, we have to hurry. Alie will send reinforcements. And we have to find someplace private to perform the ascension." Clarke informs

"You believe that to defeat the enemy who will stop at nothing, you must stop at noting. How is that different from blood must have blood?" Luna questions Before everything goes dark.

...

We woke up at the beach with all of our stuff.

"Now what?"
