When I got home from the library, I tried to text her.
"Hey Autumn! It's Jake!" I texted.
"Oh hey Jake. Sorry I was rushing earlier. My mom was just....you know what I mean." she texted back after a couple of minutes.
Then she called. I answered it and our conversation started.
A: Hey Jake!
J:Sup?
A:Do you wanna hang out sometime? You need to tell me about my childhood. You promised. Remember?
J: Oh yeah. Maybe tomorrow afternoon. I don't know where tho.
A:Library again maybe.
J: Cool
A:So do you wanna start telling me about my past now?
J: On the phone?
A: Yeah. Is that a problem?
J: Can we just do it tomorrow so we can talk about a lot of stuff in person.
A: True. I'd rather talk to someone about something very important in person. Oh well, see you tomorrow at 1.
J: See yah. Goodnight.
A: Goooodnigghhttt!!!!
I hung up. God! What am I going to tell her? Will she still forgive me even if she finds out that I'm the reason why she havean amnesia? Or is it better to not show up tomorrow?
