One Saturday morning...

Under the warm embrace of the Saturday morning sun, the Valley came alive with the promise of an enchanting junior prom night. Emerging from the quaint Cocoa Bean Haven, Sam and Coco, armed with steaming lattes, meandered through the lively city square, their laughter blending seamlessly with the cheerful ambiance.

Coco Fuentes, radiating positivity, remarked, "Spending time is so fun, girl! We have to keep doing this."

"Absolutely..." Sam responded, her voice trailing off, her thoughts dancing amidst the complexities of her relationship status.

Coco, sensing Sam's inner turmoil, sighed, "Look, Sam, I know you're going through some things right now, but you've got me, Robby, your dad, and the whole Miyagi-Do crew supporting you. So, let's focus on building yourself up, okay?" A playful nudge from Coco coaxed a warm smile from Sam.

"Thanks, Coco. Seriously, you mean the world to me. I don't know where I'd be without you," Sam admitted, genuine gratitude shining in her eyes.

"Aw, right back atcha, sis," Coco responded, sealing their connection with an affectionate hug beneath the shade of a sprawling tree.

As the golden glow of the sun enveloped them, Coco, burdened by an unspoken concern, hesitated before sharing her thoughts with Sam.

"Sam, there's something I need to talk to you about," Coco confessed, her voice filled with genuine worry. "You know how my family's shop is pulling me away from Miyagi-Do, but... I just feel like it's such horrible timing, and I don't want it to make anything come between us."

Sam reassured her, "There's absolutely nothing you need to worry about, Coco. You're going through a tough time too, and it sucks, but trust me when I say we're good."

"Thanks. I knew you'd get it," Coco said with a smile. "But on a more serious note, I know that you and Y/N's breakup was... messy. It's been, what, a couple of weeks? Are you sure moving on to somebody else, especially Miguel , is the right thing for you right now?"

"Coco, it's not like I had planned to move on from Y/N to Miguel. Things just... happened, and Miguel and I connected. Besides, we're better for each other anyway. Y/N and I just... led each other on for too long, I guess," Sam explained, her gaze thoughtful.

"Well... it's just that I-- *sigh* --never mind," Coco said, concern etched on her face.

"I appreciate your concern, Coco. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine," Sam reassured her.

"Cool. Just remember I've always got your back," Coco declared, embracing Sam, who smiled appreciatively.

"I know, Coco. And I'm grateful for that. We're in this together, right?" Sam affirmed, their bond strengthening.

"But there is one thing I want you to promise me," Sam added, a hint of seriousness in her tone.

"Sure, anything!" Coco responded.

"I need you to promise that you won't break Robby's heart... I wouldn't want him to get hurt like I did," Sam requested, vulnerability seeping into her words.

"Of course! I'd never do that to him; he means so much to me," Coco promised sincerely.

"Good to know I can count on you because I don't know how I'd deal with an angsty Robby. Then again, he's pretty much always been that way," Sam joked, their laughter echoing through the square.

As their laughter lingered in the air, the friends immersed themselves in the anticipation of the approaching prom night, blissfully unaware of the twists and turns the journey would unveil.
