Awake (Chapter 35)

I awoke to a soft voice calling my name. When I sat up I saw my mothers eyes looking into mine. I shot up and stared at her before smiling. "Your awake Ma." She frowned deeply, pearly tears swirling in her eyes. "Oh I'm so sorry Y/n" she began to cry. "Im so so sorry." I reached forward and held her in a soft embrace. "It's ok mom, it's ok. He'll never hurt you again I promise." We stay like that for a while when I heard the door open. I turned to see Akio standing in the door. Shigy and Dabi were with her. Along with a girl around my age. Her hair was in space burns and she wore a black hoodie with a white skirt. I remember her from the competitions, and I think we might have talked once. "N/n, momma." Akio walked in and fell beside me. "I always knew he was a no good bastard, but I never thought he'd do this to you mom." She grabbed our moms hand tightly as she look up at her with tears. She wiped them before they could fall and smiled. "But I do have some good news." She stood before taking out papers. She handed them to our mom and she gasped. "If you'll let me, I would be honored to take over the l/n company." Our mother looked up before shaking her head, "no I refuse to be that person anymore. I will not force my children to do something they don't want." Akio grabbed our moms hand before saying. "I do want to, I always did. I was just scared, terrified, that I wouldn't meet his expectations. But I know you could never be disappointed in me, so I'm not scared anymore. Please mom, let me do this." A wide smile painted my mother face, making her look brighter then she has in a long while. "Let's give them a minute to Discuss." I told the others, they all agreed and they existed the room. "Hey, how you holding up Kid?" Dabi asked as he placed a hand on my head. I rolled my eyes. "I'm fine, and your not that much older then me." He laughed as I pushed his hand off my head. "Hiya!" The girl said before holding out a hand. "I don't know if I introduced myself but I'm Toga Himiko! I've been wanting to talk to you cause your just so cute!" I took her hand and she pulled me into a hug. "Woah, oh uh thank you." My face turned red due to her bluntness. She thinks I'm cute?? She smiled at me before saying. "Awww your face is red cutie pie!" A hand pulled me back from her, I turned and saw Shiggy shaking his head. "Alright that's enough Himi." She pouted at him before crossing her arms. "You never let me have any fun." I laughed at the two when Mr. Aizawa walked up. He had a bag of food in one hand and fb/d (favorite breakfast drink) in the other hand. "I got your favorite." I smiled widely before rushing up. "Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!" I exclaimed. He smiled softly at me before handing me the items. Akio walked out of the room and smiled at us, "wanna go get all of dads stuff out of the house and dump it?" I smiled and responded. "Oh you bet I do."
