Chapter Twenty-Two

"Vasquez, Unity Code!" I chuckled.

Bea is obviously pissed, she's now shouting. 

She already gave them the one week punishment. Kanina pa ako nakatayo rito. Walang nakakaalam ng Unity Code sa kanila. 

"Ano wala pa rin? Unity Code!" 

"I am only one but one, I can't do everything but I can do something. What I can do is what is what I ought to do by the grace of God, I will do." I answered for them.

Apat ang officers na nasa grounds. Vasquez, Laurente, Castillano... And Alvendia. I'm guessing they're late. Kinuha ko ang command at pinaakyat na si Bea. Kitang-kita ang ngiti ni Vasquez paglapit ko. 

I don't really care about their violation. I'm just here for Lucchesi. Nabigay na ni Bea ang one week na parusa kaya pinaalis ko na ang tatlo. Lucchesi looked at me with pure annoyance in her eyes.

Oh, baby. It's either you hate me or love me. No in between. No, nothing.

I've learned my lesson. No more nice guy. I'm having you one way or another.

"Pakisabi kung sino kasama mo in Military Alphabet, Alvendia," I can't let it go.

"Papa, Uniform, Tango, Alpha, November, Golf, India, November, Alpha, Mama, Oscar. Sir!" sagot ko sa kanya." 

'Putangina mo.'

Of course, she cursed at me. 

Brandon, parusahan mo!

I laughed and looked up. She's unbelievable.

"Ang tigas mo pa rin, 'no?" I gave her an intense gaze. 

She looked at me like she's enjoying what's happening right now. I commanded her to give me her upper uniform dahil naka-black shirt siya. She took off the buttons one by one, not breaking eye contact. 

"Baka amoy amoyin mo 'yan, ah?" she teased.

You're not supposed to talk! 

Brandon, parusahan mo na kasi!

"White shirt, Lucchesi... para makuha mo 'to."

"Baka gamitin mo pa 'yan 'pag iniisip mo 'ko habang nag-"

"Alvendia. Tiwalag." 

"What was that?!" I asked after seeing Barry talked with Lucchesi.

"Oh, bro! Easy... binigyan ko lang ng yakult! Inimbitahan ko sa bahay, 'di ba?!"

I punched his arm.

"Ano ba, pre?! Ako ang president ng LuBad fansclub tapos iniisip mo susulutin ko sa'yo?" 

My eyebrows furrowed. "LuBad? Fix it! I don't like it!"

"Ang hirap kaya! DonCchesi? LuDon? BraLu? Oh, 'di ba? LuBad, pinakamatino!" 

"I don't care! Fix it!"

"Hoy, lima lang kami, 'no! Tanga pa mga kasama ko!" I shook my head, then folded Lucchesi's upper uniform neatly.

Umalis na ako at nagbantay ng mga pila. I inspected some C.A.T na hindi nagagawa ng maayos ang trabaho nila. Napatingin ako sa pila ng grade nine at nakitang may suot na upper si Lucchesi. 

I looked at my hands, binasa ko ang pangalan na nakaburda sa upper at Alvendia naman ang nakalagay doon.

Now that I think of it. It looks big for her. Doon ko lang din nakita ang "Alambra" sa upper na suot niya.
