"Sir Christian, kakain na raw po sabi ni Ma'am."

I immediately stood up and shut down my computer when I heard Yaya's voice.

"Susunod po ako!"

I went down and took my reviewer with me. I have an upcoming test so I will try to review every time I have.

"Anak, mamaya na 'yan..." Si Mommy.

Binaba ko ang reviewer at nag-focus sa pagkain. I glanced at Aster's chair and noticed he's not here. This is one of the few days that Mom and Dad is home so why isn't he joining us?

"Yaya, si Aster po?" I asked.

She finished pouring juice first before answering. "Mamaya na lang daw po siya at nandoon ang mga kaibigan."

My eyebrows furrowed. He can invite his friends if he want to.

"Let him, Hijo, mag-tatantrums na naman 'yon kapag pinagsabihan."

"I'll just call him, Dad." Hindi ako nakinig.

I know deep inside gusto kami nila Mommy na sabay-sabay na kumakain.

I knocked on his room.

"Go away! Hindi pa ako gutom!" He shouted.

Does he talk like that with the helpers?

"Aster, open the door," I said so he would know it's me.

There was a long silence so I started knocking again.

"Brandon, don't open the door! Hayaan mo lang siya d'yan."

Heto na naman siya sa pang-babastos.

I opened the door by myself. I respectfully knock for a lot of times at kung ayaw niya buksan, ako na lang ang gagawa no'n.

"I said I'm not hungry! Go!" Aster shouted.

"Bro..." Barry tried to calm him down.

I looked at his friends. "It's lunch time, Aster, pakainin mo mga kaibigan mo."

"We had some snacks, Christian, we're fine."

I was annoyed when he called me by my name. I let it slide dahil nandito ang mga kaibigan niya.

"A meal won't hurt, bro..." Brandon convinced him.

"Yeah! Gutom na rin ako," Barry encouraged him too.

Napilit nila si Aster na bumaba. I saw how Mom's face light up nang makitang bumaba si Aster. She immediately stood up and scoop some rice for him, sinabihan niya rin sila Yaya na lagyan ng juice ang baso nito.

Brandon sat beside me.

"How's grade five, kids?" Dad asked.

"We're not kids anymore."

"Aster," saway ko.

He just shrugged his shoulder na parang walang pakielam.

"It was nice so far, Tito," Brandon answered.

"Of course it was nice for you, Hijo, you're at the top of the class!" Mom praised him.

Brandon smiled shyly. I looked at him. He's a good kid.

Dad praised him too.
