You were walking down the same corridor you walked earlier on your way back to your office. When you got back you headed to your desk and fell down on your chair, the stack of papers on the side, looking at them made you feel exhausted already.

You propped your elbows on the table, fingers interlocked as you lowered your head and closed your eyes. You couldn't help but to think about what occurred earlier, not too long ago in Erwin's office.

"Brother, you could have at least looked a bit happier," you muttered with a dry scoff as your head fell on the desk.

It's not that Erwin always shows his emotions, if anything he always keeps his emotions hidden behind that stoic expression. He does smile, on rarest of occasions. But earlier you thought you'd at least see even the slightest hint of smile on his face.

"At least he said that," you mumbled. "Congratulations,"

You stayed like that for a few moments, briefly forgetting about the dozens of documents you need to tend on. Instead you think about what Erwin and Levi could be talking about now.

Back in his office, Levi looked at Erwin, waiting for the latter to start talking instead of staring at him. But not a moment later Levi decided to speak first.
