A month had gone by, and true to what Hange said, the queasiness and morning sickness had subsided. Somehow, at least. But not entirely, although it is bearable now that you don't throw up every time you try to eat some meat or drink some tea.

But after all those days of throwing up, skipping meals and not being able to eat for an entire day, it must have started to backfire to you as you felt hunger every now and then. Like today for instance. You're having breakfast in the dining hall with the Squad Leaders and the soldiers, the Squad Captains' table is away from the rest and as you sit there, the plate already empty, you still feel like you haven't eaten a thing.

Alright, maybe you're stretching it, but you're still hungry that you couldn't help but glance at Levi's plate, with food that he barely even touched as he drank his tea instead.

You were too preoccupied looking at his food that you didn't notice Levi looking at you. Until he put his teacup down and spoke.

"What? Still hungry?" he asked and you almost flinched, tearing your eyes from the plate to look at him to see the upturn of the side of his lips in a snide smile before he pushed the plate towards you. "Here, you can have it."
