It didn't take long until it's dinner, although you wished it would not end so soon. Because this will be the last time you'll have supper with Levi, for the time being until the Expedition ends and they go back inside the walls. That night, as you happily feast on the potato salad, you suddenly felt a tug in your stomach and you stopped, thinking about the Expedition made you feel queasy. Even before when you first went beyond the walls, you still remember the first time you went on an Expedition, and it wasn't exactly the best memories you had and memories like that are harder to forget.

You put the utensils down and wiped your lips with a cloth, an indication that you're done eating as Levi looked up. He was already finished a few minutes ago and is now sipping his newly brewed tea while waiting for you to finish eating, which you did and Levi put his teacup down.

"I was just thinking," you started as Levi started to take the empty plates. "About the Expedition."

"You don't need to think about it," Levi said in a tone that clearly meant he wanted to dismiss any topic about the Expedition.

"Why? Because I'm no longer part of it? My soldiers will be going, my brother will be going, my husband will be going. So how can I not think about it?"
