{The helicopter that's been shot out of the air and flown to the area where Blitz is has impacted the ground, and it produces a deafening explosion so strong that it felt like the entire city shook. Bright hellfire plumes out, creating a mushroom cloud towering that of the apartments complexes in the surrounding area}

The shockwave that came after the jet of flames spew out from the wreckage of the copter brought with a mixture of shrapnel, debris, and body pieces of the dead legionnaires.

Everyone else, who made it out alive from this battle, had already escaped the blast radius and taken shelter in nearby buildings, however, two people are left behind outside as they are simply too late.

Exusiai carries her best friend, Blitz by his shoulder, but due to his injuries, his weight, and the fact the former is not that good at lifting stuff, especially when it's a full-grown man, they lag behind everyone else, and to make matters worse, they are close to the danger zone.

Exusiai refused help from Croissant and Texas, as she yelled for them to make it to safety first, and opted to stay by Blitz's side, to carry him with all her strength. He has saved her life more than once, it's about time she repays all the favors he did for her in the past, but now, it appears it's all for nothing because when the helicopter crashed and blew up, they didn't even make it half-way out.

The two stood frozen and taken aback, quite literally, by the thundering boom. It's only a matter of time before either of them gets pierced by shrapnel, or get cooked alive by the flames. Blitz, before he collapses to his knees, looks at his best friend, who is willing to stay with him so they can die together. He knows she is not gonna leave, no matter how hard he tells her to, so he does the next best thing he could think of, and shield her by using his body from the explosion.

Without a moment's hesitation, he grabs her arm, pulls her to the ground, and before she could react, he plops his body down over her and spreads his limbs out wide to try and cover her entire body.

She is shocked and scared at this act of sacrifice, knowing that he will most likely die first... That is his intention.

With one last kiss on her nose as a way of him saying goodbye and giving her solace, the orange dust cloud engulfs them, and it covers virtually the entire area with scalding ash, dust, and shrapnel.

Meanwhile, Blitz's companions, who have recovered from their comatose state, run away as soon as they figured the weird flying vehicle is about to make its touch down in their area. They take refuge inside the nearest apartment complex, though when they realize they forgot to take Blitz with them, as they were about to go and save him, the helicopter is close to crashing at the time.

Varus was dead set on going to retrieve him, no matter the risk, but Philip grabs a hold of him, and Lie Ren convinces him otherwise by knocking him out. They then retreat inside the building and shut the door behind them.

The cousins regret having to leave their leader behind, the reason why they're there in the first place, but if it's either him or them... they chose themselves.

The remnants of Rhodes Island – joined by Croissant of Penguin Logistics – all run for their lives away from the danger zone. The strongest members, or at least those who can lift a hundred or more pounds of weight, put the comatose members of Rhodes Island on their shoulders, not wanting to leave them behind.
