Hindi naman talagang mahiyain sa akin noon si Jeremiah, but he is not this showy as well. Siguro hindi ko na maaalis sa akin ang pagkokompara. Dahil ibang-iba ang nangyayari ngayon kumpara sa mga inaasahan ko. And it's hard to decide upon which of the two different version is better.

This could be fake, alam ko iyon. Maybe he's just pretending, and plotting something. This could be a scheme. But I don't really care about his real motives. He can lie to me, act as if he still cares and loves me... because that's the only thing he can do. Hindi na magiging kami ulit, though we didn't really have a proper break up, pero para sa akin, wala na kami. And he knows that.

Bahala nalang siya hanggang sa mapagod siya. I love him, but that's not enough. I have so many things served on my plate, and love life? Romantic relationship? More so... marriage? That's too complicated. Ito ngang sa amin ay sobrang gulo na.

At itong mga pinag-gagawa niya? Akala niya ba hindi halata? The more he became showy, the more clear it is on my view that he's just pretending. But that's fine. Though it feels bittersweet, however, at least, it's somehow sweet. Nevermind the pang.

I did not stopped him when he suddenly called the waiter and asked for our bill. I just watched him lend the worker his black card. Alam ko namang wala ring silbi kung magpropotesta ako. And this is part of my plan, kung susundan niya ako kahit saan, I can use that for my advantage. I will let him pay the bills that are supposed to be paid by me. Bayad niya sa pang-sta-stalk sa akin.

"Where are you going next? Uuwi ka na?" He asked the moment we stepped out from the restaurant.

I sighed, at dapat ko rin siyang pakisamahan ng kunti. There's no use of pushing him away, I know he will still stay. Kaya hindi ko na iyon gagawin, but I won't be very nice to him, ipapakita ko sa kaniya ang tunay na ugali ko kapag ibang tao ang aking kaharap.

Yes, I admit. Maybe I did not really forced myself to be kind and good in front of him before, but I am well aware that I was almost faking it. May iniba ako ng kunti. Hindi ko naman binago ang sarili ko para sa kaniya, I just adjusted a bit so that we'll fit.

Noon kasi, pakiramdam ko ay sobrang taas ko keysa sa kaniya, that's why I bowed down a little, so that he could reach me. Pero ngayon, hahayaan ko siyang tumingkayad para lang maabot ako. If it makes sense, we're not completely different in every aspects. 

"I'll go shopping." I replied, trying to sound cold.

Narinig ko ang pagbabangga ng mga susi at ang kasunod n'un ay ang tunog ng sasakyan-- na nasa hindi lang din kalayuan. He's behind me, so I can't see what he's doing. One of the signs I knew that he's not leaving me anytime soon is his heavy footsteps.

"You brought your car, right? I'll just call someone to bring you car to your house, just like the last time." He said, like he's certain that I won't complain to his suggestion, or more like, command.

Iminuwestra niya sa akin ang daan papunta sa kaniyang kotse, a Porsche. He opened his front seat's door for me. He was calling someone as he opens the door of his car, iyong driver nila. The last time, he asked their family driver to bring my car to our house, and of course he'll do the same. Binigay ko sa kaniya ang susi ng kotse ko, at iniwan naman niya ito sa reception.

He drove us to the nearest Mall, well, it's the most popular. He opened the car's door for me, hindi ko siya hinintay, dire-diretso lang ako nang lakad, pero mabilis niya rin akong napantayan. Those long legs, tsk.

Since I didn't bring any bag, and I remember that the last bag I bought is already two months old. I decided to visit one of my favorite shop, Gucci. He's just beside me as I look for great designs. Sinusubukan siyang kausapin ng iilang mga sales lady, pero tipid na mga sagot lang ang ibinbigay niya, malinaw na nagpapahayag na hindi siya interesadong makipag-usap. Kaya sa huli ay para siyang asong sunod lang nang sunod sa akin.
