Chapter 26 - Day Off

Holden's POV

It's Friday morning 7:40, it's a sunny warm day and I want to be nice to Khalil so I got some plans for today before his little first summer weekend at Kimberly's house. I got out from bed got in the shower then put on a red sleeve 3/4 baseball shirt, blue jeans and Nike Cortez white gym red sneakers. I went so see if Khalil was still asleep or awake and he was already up. He got on his Black Panther Party shirt with the panther on it, some jeans and he was tying his black Air Jordan Retro 11 sneakers.

"Dang you up already" I said with my head sticking out from his door

"Oh you're up dad. I was going to come in and wake you and mom up" he said finishing up

I walked in "Yeah"

"Yeah"

"Well I'm up but mom is not and you know how lazy she is. She still sleeping"

"Can we wake her up"

"Let's do it" I said grabbing his basketball and dunk it on his hoop he got on his closet door

Khalil and I sneaked into the room, he got on the bed gently "OK when imma count down to one and when I say one we wake her up as in we can yell, you can jump up and down on the bed"

"Let's do it" Khalil said

"3, 2,1" I said quietly

"WAKE UP MOM"

We both yelled and Khalil was jumping on the bed. Elizabeth got up "OK I'm getting up, I'm getting up"

She sat up and Khalil fell on the bed and sitting with her. Elizabeth looked at the both of us "Wait why are you both dressed already it's only" she looked at the clock "It's only 8:02"

"Well I was going to wake you both up but dad is already and he told me we should wake you up"

"Thanks dad" Elizabeth said sarcastically with a smile at me

"You're welcome" I said smiling back

"What are we doing today" Elizabeth said rubbing her eyes

"Well I have to go the Chocolate City for like two minutes for my employees to drop off the papers then the three of us are going to spend today together at the park before little man has a fun weekend"

"YES" Khalil said getting off the bed

"That's sounds great"

"Cool, how about we let your mom take a shower get dressed while we make some pancakes"

"Ok, I'll race you down"

"Oh its own little man"

Khalil and I ran downstairs when me being the winner of the race. After cooking some pancakes Elizabeth came down wearing a purple flare sleeve crop top, medium blue jeans, and white thong sandals with her toe ring on her second toe on her left foot with an ankle boots with white toenail polish. She came down came up behind me hugging me from the back.

"You almost finished" she said resting her head on my back

"Yeah" I turned around grabbing her hand spinning her around "Wow you look gorgeous today"

"I do" she said blushing

"I mean your always look gorgeous" I said bending down to kiss her

We kissed her a few seconds then Khalil broke us up "Hey less kissing more cooking" it made us both laugh

I finished making the pancakes and we sat at the table talking about the plans for today and after breakfast Khalil was going upstairs but I grabbed Elizabeth's hand then pulled her on my lap and whispered "when we drop him off I'm going to some stuff to you" I whispered touching her left breast
