I stay awake with Jasper right beside me for the whole car ride. We took 3 different cars. Carlisle, Bella, and Edward in one. Emmett, Rosalie, and Esme in another. Jasper, Alice. And I in one.

I yawn.

"Darlin' go to sleep." Jasper says. "I'll be right here."

"B-but what if he's there. In my dream?" I ask.

"Like I said, I'll be right here." Jasper says

"I'm all bloody, how can you control yourself?" I ask.

"Your blood doesn't have a very strong scent. It isn't that tempting." Jasper says. "Now go to sleep."

I lay my head on Jasper's lap and I lay across the back seat. I feel Jasper put his arm around me. I slowly fall asleep.

I wake up in a bed, in a room that at I recognize, Jasper's room.

"Mornin' darlin'." Jasper says.

I smile. "Mornin' Jaz."

"Does anything hurt? After last night?" Jasper asks.

"Y-yeah." I say. "He kinda threw me into some mirrors."

"So you have some glass cuts?" Jasper asks.

I nod my head. "Wait, where's Bella?" I ask.

"Hospital. Don't worry, she's with Edward." Jasper says. "Come on, you should get a shower and then we can clean those cuts."

"Ok." I say. I get up. "Shit, that hurts." I say. "I-I don't know if I can walk." I say. "It-it just all hurts." I start panicking.

"Hey, Cam, look at me." Jasper says. "I'll help you. You're ok. You're going to be fine."

I calm down and Jasper helps me to the bathroom. I don't know if I can get myself undressed and in the shower.

'Shit Shit Shit Shit Shit!!'

I glance over at Jasper and he seems to understand. I look down, embarrassed.

"Darlin' don't be embarrassed." Jasper says. "There's no reason to be."

I nod my head and Jasper helps me get undressed. He gets undressed to and we both go in the shower. He turns the water on and I hold onto him. I put my cheek on his chest and I hug him.

"I love you Jaz." I say.

"I love you too Cam." Jasper says.

The water starts getting to my cuts and I squeeze jasper from the pain.

"I-I'm sorry." I say.

"It's fine. I'm a vampire, remember?" Jasper says.

I laugh a little, Jasper does too.

A few minutes later, we get out and Jasper helps me put on a pair of his sweatpants and one of his sweatshirts.

We head downstairs and no one is there.

"Where is everyone?" I ask.

"Checking in on Bella and cleaning up James's mess." Jasper says.

"Wait a second, what happened to James?" I ask.

"Cam, he uhhh....." Jasper hesitates. "He died."

"Oh." I say. I'll admit I am a little sad but I'm relieved.

"Let me help you with those cuts." Jasper says.

'This is gonna hurt'

Jasper grabs a wet cloth and puts some soap on it.

"You ready?" Jasper asks. I nod and Jasper pulls up the back of the sweatshirt to see my back. I feel the cloth touch a huge cut and I wince in pain. "I'm sorry baby." Jasper says.

He cleans all of my cuts for about 10 minutes.

"All done." Jasper says. "Now, how about that ice cream?"

I smile. "Yes!" I say.

We drive to an ice cream place and I get my favorite ice cream, chocolate. I get it in a bowl with a cone laying on top. I sprinkle some chocolate chips on it too.

"Thanks you Jasper." I say.

"Anything for you Darlin'." Jasper says.
