Stephanie was outside playing in the yard. The beautiful May sun was shining so brightly in the clear, blue sky. She was rolling on the grass, and having loads of fun. In the process, she got her light blue jeans all muddy. Mud stains were everywhere.
"Stephanie, you got your jeans all muddy!" said her mother.
"I was just playing in the grass, Mom!" giggled Stephanie. "I was having so much fun!"
"The grass is too muddy, honey! Please change into your pair of dark blue jeans, so I can wash these!"
Stephanie quickly changed out of her light blue jeans covered with mud, and put on her dark blue pair. Her mother put her muddy jeans into the washing machine, and added some laundry detergent, hoping to get rid of the mud stains.
In the meantime, Stephanie played the piano, which was in the living room.
