Ender dueled Ridley with a lightsaber. "I won't let you hurt them!"
Ridley laughed. "A weakling like you standing against me? Pathetic. Emperor Kidel will soon have your head!"
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Sadia said, shoving Ridley back with the force. "Ian, now!"
Ian dropped down and pushed him back. "Hi Ridley. Miss me?"
Ridley scowled. "I have backup of my own! Teresa!"
Teresa walked in. "You can't handle them? Pathetic... Allow me."
She slammed them all back with the force.
"Grace, we need some backup!" Ian said over comms.
Grace was wincing, holding her head. "This...this isn't right... This isn't...real..."
"Shoot the rebel!" a stormtrooper ordered.
They tried to fire at Grace, but the blaster bolts went through her.
"This... THIS ISN'T REAL!" Grace yelled.
The surroundings changed.
"The surface is ridiculous," Ian huffed. "What are we gonna do if it rains?"
Sadia rolled her eyes. "You're so boring, Ian... Come on, let's go try some human food!"
Nate shook his head. "This is a terrible idea..."
"I am a bit curious about human food though... Aren't you, Grace?" Ender asked.
Grace looked around. "This is... What?"
They were suddenly at a table eating.
"Man, this sure beats seafood. I told you guys!" Sadia said pointedly.
Grace glanced down at the food, increasingly stressed. "...I don't...this isn't..."
It began raining.
The others turned into merpeople, but no water touched Grace.
"Grace, why aren't you turning?" Ian asked.
"Help us get out of here!" Ender added.
Grace shook her head. "...you're...this... STOP!"
The dimension shook, morphing to different settings repeatedly. Grace began crying, collapsing and hugging her knees to her chest as she flickered in and out of existence.
If the others were still there, they would have comforted her, but the dimension was in so much chaos, they were lost in it as much as she was.
