Standing alone with a broken heart,
We are close yet so far apart;
You left me here with this pain
It feels like I can't smile again
Don't leave me for I couldn't bear
I'm begging you, will you still care?
No! You don't love me the way I do
That's why I'm now letting you go
It's because of you I have grown
Not to cry but to smile on my own
Not to live my life with hate,
But to cherish it and have faith.
I'm done loving you... I swear!
Thank you for leaving me my dear
Since you left me I became strong
It feels like nothing can go wrong
All of this, I learned from you,
That's why I'm thankful as you go.
So thank you for the pain....
And for the scars you've given.
