Bellamy's pov~~~~

When we arrived back at camp Annabeth and Raven were taken to medical and I was sent off to get locked up.

Kane stated to interrogate me about the Grounders. I didn't know much besides the fact they wanted us dead.

"I don't know anything, so stop asking" I spat.

"How'd you fight the grounders off?" Kane then asked me.

"The guns we found at the aid depot leveled the playing field, and maybe, maybe if we'd had more bullets, we could have-" I was interrupted.

"There were more bullets" Kane said.

"What? No" I sighed.

"Search team just returned from the bunker. They found two more barrels full of rifles and a third filled with bullets" he stated.

"I should have looked harder!" I spat.

"Any use of firearms will be punishable as a felony under the Exodus Charter" Kane explained.

Suddenly Murphy was also brought in and was chained up with me.

"Oh great, I'm stuck with the psycho who tried killing Annabeth" I stated.

"I didn't mean it!" Murphy yelled at me.

"Stop it! Both of you!" Kane told us.

We went quite and then we all heard several gunshots outside.

"Keep an eye on them" Kane said before walking out.

I sat back into my chair and crossed my arms in anger. I couldn't be with Annabeth even though I did nothing wrong, in fact I was doing something right.

I played with her necklace in my hands as I prayed that she was okay.

"I saved her you know" Murphy spoke up.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked him.

"Annabeth" he replied.

"Don't you dare say her name!" I snapped standing up.

"She was dying inside that drop ship" he stated.

"Yeah where you shot her!" I yelled at him.

"No, where you left her to die" he said firmly.

"Annabeth and I we're supposed to be together. Not with you" he added in frustration.

"What?" I asked.

"I am in love with Annabeth! I always have been" he replied.

"But she loves you, she always has. Ever since she met you on the ark you were all she would ever talk about" he added looking up at me.

"I never knew" I sighed.

Annabeth's pov ~~~~

When I woke up again I was in a hospital bed. I looked around at my surroundings and saw a girl in the bed next to me.

"Good you're awake" A lady said as she walked over to me.
